You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! –pjoef (talk • contribs) 16:09, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
The MOTD Barnstar | ||
The MOTD Barnstar is awarded to AndieM13 for her invaluable contribution to our project, which was experiencing a period of extreme scarcity. Thank you from Motto of the day. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 10:59, 13 March 2012 (UTC) |
Additional note: Hoping that you feel comfortable with us, we hope and desire that you will want to continue contributing to our/your project. I personally think that if many of us contribute, then about ten minutes per week, by reviewing the existing nominations, and eventually adding new nominations, should be more than enough to get the project going! Once again, thank you from your Motto of the day. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 10:59, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Hey! Still up for adoption? I am happy to help you settle in! I see you are involved in a project already, which is good. Anyways, drop me a note if you are still interested! Kinkreet~♥moshi moshi♥~ 02:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

I already had Twinkle installed, but I'm not sure exactly what I can do with it. Oddly enough, I don't remember seeing the Talkback button before :/
User:AndieM13/status, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:AndieM13/status and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:AndieM13/status during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. AndieM13 (Leave a message!) 09:50, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:53, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello, this is just to let you know that I've granted you Rollback rights. Please also read the additional note I left at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollback#User:AndieM. Just remember:
Hello AndieM, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Jweston1, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Clearly not vandalism, this is a user making test edits on their own userpage. You may wish to review the WP:CSDCriteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. -- Lear's Fool 13:51, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. --Zawadska (talk) 04:49, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello, I tagged Gireesh chemrakadan for speedy deletion A7 because the user who created is also by the name User:Gireesh chemrakadan and he has also removed your tag. By the way sorry for any trouble. Happy editing. Solomon7968 (talk) 06:38, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Hey AndieM, seems like you've been quite busy on WP, is everything OK? Need a hand with anything? Kinkreet~♥moshi moshi♥~ 19:16, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi Andie, Thank you for your help with moving user: The Costa Report to The Costa Report (an article). I have created it as an article but now I don't know how to get rid of the user one. I chose The Costa Report as a user name because I thought I was naming the page. I would be happy to change that too but I don't know how. Suggestions? Thanks again! Hi AndieM. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Skyflite london, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, under criterion A3 because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. because author blanked the page, it qualifies for G2 Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Yasht101 11:37, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

no it is not a single issue account, but only an attempt to get agreement first before the page is posted if you actually bothered to read the talk page. now i suggest you talk to you local police to see what personal danger you are in. i am fed up. you can type your lies but they know the danger — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bunglezippy (talk • contribs) 23:08, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi Andie. I notice that you've just manually archived your talkpage (after the Downside issue, your pages show up on my watchlist). I don't know if you're aware, but there are automated systems that can do this rather onerous task for you - I use MiszaBot, which works very well. It's pretty straightforward to use; just add the following code:
{{User:MiszaBot/config | algo = old(7d) | archive = User talk:AndieM/Archives/%(year)d/%(monthname)s }} {{Usertalkconcise}} {{archives}}
to the top of your userpage and the bot will do the rest. Instructions on how to change the parameters to suit your personal preferences are here (the setup above will archive all threads older than one week into datestamped archives). There's no need to do this if you don't want to - nothing wrong with manual archiving - but I thought you might like to know that the option's there. Yunshui 雲水 13:22, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your response concerning the photographs, Andie. Now that the photos are removed, are there any other problems that need to be fixed. The top of the page says that there are multiple issues. Could you recommend what to do to fix the errors?

This month marks the observation of Pentecost, one of the most important feast of the Christian liturgical year. It is our hope here that all of you, regardless of your religious affiliation (if any), find that the holiday, and its accompanying activities, an enjoyable and beneficial experience. We also hope that this "Birthday of the Church" is one which gives you the same joy as the birthday of yourself or your loved ones.
Ichthus is the successor to the long running WikiProject Christianity newsletter, run under the WikiProject Christianity’s Outreach department. As such, you will continue to see information about our latest featured and good articles, DYKs, as well as new members who have joined our project. You might also see links to Christianity related news from the mainstream media!
With that, I wish you all happy reading!

As many of you may know, our unofficial mascot, dear Wikipe-tan, hasn't yet indicated any particular beliefs. However, yes, as we all know, ahem, some people might object to our beloved mascot running around in a French maid outfit. People do talk, you know. ;) If anyone might be able to develop an image of the dear lady in a image more, well, "Christian," I would like to see perhaps a vote for next month as to which, if any, image of the dear girl we might make our own unofficial mascot. Please post your images here.

Ichthus will spotlight a different subproject or workgroup of WikiProject Christianity. This edition will spotlight on our vital Outreach department. This comparatively small, but vital, project unit is dedicated to welcoming new editors to Wikipedia and the Christianity related content, and to providing information to the various project members, in forms like this newsletter.
The scope of articles with which this group deals is truly enormous, and, given the wide variety of material with which we deal, we would very much welcome the input of more individuals, particularly individuals who are particularly knowledgeable of the less well-known and less frequently monitored articles related to Christianity.
Speaking personally, I would be very, very gratified if we were to have this become a very, very large and active unit, with members from the broad spectrum of Christian beliefs, practices, and groups. The broader the spectrum and areas of expertise of members we have, the better we will be able to help manage the content. Please consider whether you believe you might be able to contribute in this vital area.

As long as it is not a blatant advertisement or an attack, users are allowed considerable freedom on their user page - see WP:UP. Though this was nonsense - it looks like someone playing with the keyboard - there is no need to delete it. Since the user is new, the thing to do is add {{welcome}} or one of the other Welcome messages to give them links to some useful advice. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:20, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
This is an automated message. Your editor review is scheduled to be closed on 17 May 2012 because it will have been open for more than 30 days and inactive for more than 7 days. You can keep it open longer by posting a comment to the review page requesting more input. Adding <!--noautoarchive-->
to the review page will prevent further automated actions. AnomieBOT⚡ 13:11, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Wikisource currently has many old texts available, most of them in the public domain. This is a potentially very valuable source for several things, including for instance links to Biblical verses, because we know that it will, basically, be around as long as we are.

This section would include a rather large image of a specific work of art, with a link to the most directly relevant article.

... in the statements contained in the Nicene Creed. I believe that the Bible is one of the two defining bases for belief. The other is the Sacred tradition, which provides us with means of interpreting the Scriptures, as well as some teachings which have been handed on by God outside of the scriptures. I believe that the Magisterium has been empowered to fill this interpretative function. I believe that clerical celibacy is a rule that should generally be followed. I am a member of the Catholic Church.

We at the Motto of the Day would be extremely grateful if you could review a couple of "special" nominations for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics on the 27th of July 2012. Here is the link to the first nomination, if you can help. The others follow it, and you can add your own ones or improve the existing nominations, of course.

How about the alternative collapsed toolbox I made at User:AndieM/Sandbox 2? The {{Navboxes}}
template you were using is really for containing multiple navboxes rather than for textual lists; with {{Collapse top}}
and {{Collapse bottom}}
you have a lot more flexibility regarding the formatting of material inside. (You can easily create multiple columns in a format of your choice, for example.) Deor (talk) 21:23, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
