Hi I see you're on the assessment team for WikiProject Schools. I need an assessment for Ivybridge Community College. Please find some time to assess this article. Bsrboy (talk) 00:00, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi, a had some trouble to track you down! I am the person who told you about some issues at a Private Christian School. I had to resort to using an IP address because some users blocked me for no reason. I feel that Wiki is controlled by a certain few (not you btw.) who only lets info that they approve of. Can you please shed light on this please.

You might look very closely :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Museums if they have started up there might technically be some redundancy on the part of the edu tags - if I were you - a friendly cordial discussion and interaction between the edu and mus projects might be in order - just a suggestion SatuSuro 10:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
well whatever - it seemed something to know about - what actually happens is always something else on wikipedia anyways :| SatuSuro 01:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Is it OK if I put something in the WikiProject Homeschooling newsletter that says you changed your name from Twenty Years to Five Years, so that members can recognize you as both accounts? - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 12:19, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up (I had already noticed though ;)). All the best. —Moondyne click! 23:45, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Best of luck with the new moniker SatuSuro 01:19, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Aquinas Blazer Logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:32, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi. About that little conversation that I had with 'Dilly' Terrier, I want to tell you that he wrote a message on my talk page regarding something that I did about 3 months ago, that is that I pulled out of one of his projects. I deleted the message and then he became mad and started bugging me with a bunch of annoying messages. Then I reacted, as normal, telling him to not boder me anymore. Apparently he didn't understand and threatened me that I'll we banned. I just want you to understand that wasn't my fault. Paulinho28 (talk) 19:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
My RFA that you weighed in on earlier has closed as no consensus to promote, at a final tally of 120/47/13. I thank you for your feedback and comments there, and I'm going to be considering all the various advice and comments presented. I might end up at RFA again some day, or not. If you see me there again in the future, perhaps you might consider a Support !vote. If not, not, and no hard feelings. The pen is still mightier than the mop! See you around, and thanks again. Lawrence § t/e 18:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your comments on my RFA. Even though it failed with 28 supports, 42 opposes, and 15 neutrals, I am grateful for the suggestions and advice I have received and I do hope to improve as a Wikipedian. If you ever need my help in any endeavor, feel free to drop me a line. --Sharkface217 20:02, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I posted this to Nothing444 but have been informed that h no longer able to mentor. As you were the second person to kindly offer assitance I am now posting here. Thank you for you offer. I would like to learn more. I tried asking on another moderators talk page, but he erased my entry and did not reply! I can only assume I failed to follow some protocol. Perhaps to start with you can assist me in using the basic tools of communication at Wikipedia, which still seem to be giving me trouble.
Unlike most forum software available today, there does not seem to be a way to send a private message, so everything must be discussed in public? When I enter a post it goes to the bottom not the top? Some posts just fall off into oblivion after xxx days? the table at the top does not contain a way to access historical information? I would like to learn how to be of help here but i feel like I am floundering with basic communication skills. How would you like to proceed? When I hit the "enter" key and insert a Carriage Return to make a new line, I see the new lin in the editor yet when I "Save Page" all my formatting is lost?

Nice work. It'd be good to expand and link to TEE/TER, but I confess to not fully understanding that. —Moondyne click! 05:00, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
I see that you have put a "Start" class rating on Bridgewater-Raritan High School, an article that I have done some work on in the past. I am in the process of trying to understand the criteria for the different ratings, mainly in connection with a different Wikiproject that I have become involved with. I do not know whether the Education Wikiproject has specific criteria for its ratings for school articles. What I am wondering is, on this particular article, what would be required for it to be rated higher than "Start" class? I am not really sure how much more information we would want to have in an article on a single high school. Or is it more a matter of the quality of the writing, the sources, or what? Neutron (talk) 16:52, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Hey, saw you reverted an editor im helping (User:RealWorldExperience) on the PowerBASIC page here. I know nothing about the subject area, and it would greatly assist in this users development, if you could explain to him what was wrong with his edit. Thanks. Five Years 06:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
An article written by a former student risks original research. The article does not address the youth culture of Perth, students from the private schools may have played a leading role, but it was the college that tried to do something about it. Fred Talk 17:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
It would be good for you to actually read Wikipedia policy:
Maintain Wikipedia policy
The policies that apply to articles also apply (if not to the same extent) to talk pages, including Wikipedia's verification, neutral point of view and no original research policies. There is of course some reasonable allowance for speculation, suggestion and personal knowledge on talk pages, with a view to prompting further investigation, but it is usually a misuse of a talk page to continue to argue any point that has not met policy requirements...
...Editors should remove any negative material about living persons that is either unsourced, relies upon sources that do not meet standards specified in Wikipedia:Reliable sources, or is a conjectural interpretation of a source.
I'm fairly certain that the Employees of PowerBASIC qualify as living persons. Repeated slanderous attacks on them (by Real World Experience) is unforgivable. PowerCoder (talk) 20:04, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I've protected the page and blocked the offending user. In the future, that kind of thing is better brought to WP:AIV than WP:ANI. Thanks for the vigilance. Toddst1 (talk) 06:13, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I know we had a discussion on the assessment page about a bot that was automatically assessing school articles. I think this is the bot in question here. I've no idea how it works. Perhaps you can help? Dahliarose (talk) 22:23, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
There is currently a backlog of 56 users at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user. Please consider offering adoption to one or more of these users. Don't forget to change their {{adoptme}} template to {{adoptoffer|Five Years/Archive 15}}. Thank you for your continued participating in Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. xenocidic (talk) 19:41, 1 May 2008 (UTC) |
Hey, i think weve hit a snag. In Category:Unassessed school articles click on the letter Z, and heaps of pages are sorted into a sub-section entitled " { ", is this some sort of bot mess up or the category being slow to update. Thanks. Five Years 18:08, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello Five Years. I noticed you removed the controversy section from this article recently and asked for a source. The user did not add a source, but re-added it. I have removed it an explained the issue on the talk page. Basically, this is a "non story" that was turned into a relatively big story during a slow news week. I feel it doesn't really warrant a mention. Perhaps you could contribute to the discussion. Thanks. Alice Mudgarden (talk) 10:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 07:04, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello there. I saw your name on the volunteers list and it appears you do schools. When you have the time, could you do me a favor and perhaps review McGill University? It's already gone through one review, but that brought out only two responses. The peer review is here. Please take your time. Thanks, --Sunsetsunrise (talk) 20:39, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you so far for your contribution. --Sunsetsunrise (talk) 11:44, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Do you have a bot that is changing all the instances of "WP Cricket" to "WikiProject Cricket"? If not, and you are having to do them all by hand, then given the very large number wouldn't it be a lot easier to update the former template so that it was identical to the latter? (I must admit that, until you started making your changes, I had assumed that they were synonymous, and had been using the WP form on the grounds that it meant less typing.) JH (talk page) 17:29, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello . The Highly Active Users project has gone through a complete revamping per popular demand. We believe this new format will make it easier for new editors to find assistance. However, with the new format, I must again ask you to verify your information on this page. With the extensive changes, I may have made some errors. Thanks again. bibliomaniac15 01:52, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks so much for your support in myRfA, which closed successfully this morning. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 17:47, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed that you have recently assessed Los Altos High School. Could you please assess the Wikiproject Education one as well, and please leave a summary of what needs to be improved. Anything would be helpful. Thanks! --haha169 (talk) 03:49, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello yet again. I regretfully inform you that the bot we were using to update the user status at Wikipedia:Highly Active Users, SoxBot V, was blocked for its constant updating. With this bot out of operation, a patch is in the works. Until that patch is reviewed and accepted by the developers, some options have been presented to use as workarounds: 1) Qui monobook (not available in Internet Explorer); 2) User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate; 3) Manually updating User:StatusBot/Status/USERNAME; or 4) Not worry about it and wait for the patch to go through, which hopefully won't take long. If you have another method, you can use that, too. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Useight (talk) 22:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
