This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi! can you please check out this Florian Munteanu case a German actor. I've seen plenty of pages here on Wikipedia with actors who played a single role in a movie. I don't understand why some people complain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:4F8:1C17:530D:0:0:0:1 (talk) 14:14, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
Happy Christmas! | ||
Hello Finlay McWalter, Early in A Child's Christmas in Wales the young Dylan and his friend Jim Prothero witness smoke pouring from Jim's home. After the conflagration has been extinguished Dylan writes that My thanks to you for your efforts to keep the 'pedia readable in case the firemen chose one of our articles :-) Best wishes to you and yours and happy editing in 2019. The file File:Wfm hlv test.svg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned image with no foreseeable encyclopedic use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:45, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Administrators must secure their accounts
The Arbitration Committee may require a new RfA if your account is compromised.

This message was sent to all administrators following a recent motion. Thank you for your attention. For the Arbitration Committee, Cameron11598 02:59, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.

Is this the right place to leave a new message for Finlay? It is the very bottom. Valora Noland here. I see you removed the quotation marks from the title of my book "Horse Stories". Please ask to see it at Amazon. The quotation marks are part of the title. Perhaps today they are not as often used as they used to be. I just read a book where I saw a lot of them used as I have---to indicate a word, a term, which is not used in the usual manner. Regular horse stories, as I read them in my youth, would usually be different stories about different horses, invented or real. I have used "Horse Stories" as my title because I used to read them and now have written them. However, the book is all about JUST ONE HORSE. So, not quite the same as just horse stories, if you get the point. Could you please put them back?
Since I first got an account in Wikipedia I have only added a few pieces of data, and made only a few corrections. To Be Free (whoever that may be) was a bully a few months back, for he kicked me out of being able to log in and do anything. So I am trying to contact you this way. I think there could have been a less dictatorial way of dealing with my biography. Perhaps not all I would add or correct, but certainly some of it. I have no reason to lie about my short time in Hollywood. Thanks, Valora Noland/Valora Tree
OKAY< BUT WHERE DID THE BOOKS GO?
Finlay, even if I was able to use Wikipedia like the true humans do, I wouldn't necessarily know how to reply to you, so am doing it as an edit here. Looked at my page to see if you had gotten the message, and don't see either book mentioned anymore, "Horse Stories" (which you might enjoy reading), or Water Lily Ponds. Some of the poetry in Water Lily Ponds was written during the 1960s, so is more the real "ME" than any Hollywood engendered profile. About quotation marks as I'e used them, Websters says to use them on words used in an unusual sense, coined words, and slang words (aside from as quotation marks). Your edit to the article Trollie Wallie says "we should cite a source for the sister's name" in the edit summary. The title screen of the actual game Trollie Wallie says "Graphics by Claire". Does that count as a source? JIP | Talk 13:13, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
