I am seeing references to an Evergreen Cemetery in St. Augustine. For example where William A. Harn is buried. Do you think this is the same one as the one in Jacksonville or are there two up there? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Candleabracadabra (talk) 10:46, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- They are different. Evergreen is a not uncommon cemetery name. Just do a search for 'Evergreen Cemetery' in Google Maps and you'll see what I mean. :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Opposites Attract ‖ 20:08, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. Makes sense, but perhaps unfortunate that in this case they are rather close together.
- I've added several articles using your photos. Would you like a heads up when that happens? Thanks again for all your photo contributions. Candleabracadabra (talk) 01:00, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Glad to help! Yes, do let me know if you can. It's always nice to know when my photos are being used to create new articles. :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Inspector General ‖ 18:09, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, I used some. Candleabracadabra (talk) 16:35, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks again for your photographs and work here. Your name pops up in so many places whenever I work on FL related subject matter. Candleabracadabra (talk) 02:51, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- You're welcome. That's 'cause I've been all over Florida. :) Like this weekend, I did another ramble around Lake Okeechobee. I'll get around to uploading pics sometime. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Inspector General ‖ 15:18, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- I look forward to seeing the photos. I hope all your journeys are good ones. Thanks again for your help. Candleabracadabra (talk) 15:51, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
I added an article on the Brooks County Jail. There's an external link to a video from a guy who spent time there, may o may not interest you. And I think I used a photo of your for another site in Quitman, Georgia, but I can't remember which one. Candleabracadabra (talk) 01:17, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
I just merged some bits I was working on into McIntosh Sugarworks (started by another editor in July). I also started an article on the Old Camden County Courthouse. Both articles use your photos. Candleabracadabra (talk) 15:59, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
I added some articles on properties on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Lowndes County, Georgia and used several photographs you took. I wasn't sure on one of the courthouse photos if it was the back or the side? And I found it difficult to find much on the Dasher School. Anyway, I hope that now that there are articles those interested will find it easier to expand our coverage. Candleabracadabra (talk) 00:04, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
Hi Ebyabe, I'm having trouble discerning if this NRHP site is a particular house or the area? I did a google search but it wasn't much help. Take care and have a great week. Candleabracadabra (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- It's a historic district. Not really much of one, as I saw very few buildings (historic-looking or not) in the area. I took photos of the likeliest contributing properties. I would recommend the NR focus site on nps.gov, but like Florida, it looks like most of the old Georgia records have not been added yet. Oh well. Hope that helps.
- Btw, do you use Microsoft Excel? I have a spreadsheet I use to help make NRHP infobox generation easier. That's one of the things I always tried to do when creating NRHP stubs. Also, do you have AutoWikiBrowser? I've found it massively useful in updating info on Wikipedia and Wikicommons. Speaking of which, I've finished uploading photos from my Lake Okeechobee jaunt last weekend. Cheers! :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Welfare State ‖ 19:23, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- I wonder why The Ridge is listed on Wikipedia as an individual building or site if it is a district? My technology is pretty primitive. What is the best way to see your Okeechobee photos? And what about your other photos? I think there are some links on your user page so I will take a look there when I have some time. I've been working up some architecture related stubs on Brunswick, Georgia related subjects and have used several of your photos. Candleabracadabra (talk) 19:53, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- On the county listings page it's coloured as a district. For the Okeechobee pics, tell me what you're looking for and I'll see if I've photo'd them. Good on the Brunswick articles. I rather liked it, and wouldn't mind revisiting at some point. --‖ Ebyabe talk - General Health ‖ 20:05, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
I created articles on Floral City Heritage Days and the Floral City Heritage Museum. Used your photos. Feel free to add info boxes... Where do I go to ask a copyright question? I'm wondering about WPA art like paintings commmissioned for post offices. Are these in the public domain? I created articles on several of the artists who made them. Is there a place for general discussion on article work? I find the WikiProjects have a very small and narrow audience and often have somewhat insular thinking. Sometimes it's helpful to get outside input. Take care. Candleabracadabra (talk) 03:23, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
You might be interested in the Weeks Hardware article. I think I identified your interesting house.. Candleabracadabra (talk) 04:45, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Greetings. I hope you are well. I found a couple photos of the entrance of this museum and I was wondering if you had any shots of the building? It's supposed to be in Lakeland's 1929 Kress building. Also, I've been stubbing up some of Florida's other museums from the List of museums in Florida. If you have time to look through my contrib list and see if you know of photos of any that would be most helpful. I try to look for photos when I can, but I haven't been great about it for these. The Museum of Southern History is at a deletion discussion. It's funny how the articles on subjects I think are more interesting or unique (notable?) are sometimes the ones that get put before the proverbial firing squad. Candleabracadabra (talk) 20:41, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
I added some photos you took to this article. Candleabracadabra (talk) 21:08, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

I created an article on this subject and was happy to find the photos you uploaded. The architect, J. A. Wood, is also credited with the Oglethorpe Hotel in Brunswick and was the designer of the Tampa Bay Hotel. Candleabracadabra (talk) 20:36, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
- I had no idea it had that history. It's near the old county courthouse. So when I was taking shots of that in the morning, I noticed the interesting house and took some photos of it too. It was a good day for photography. I wouldn't mind revisiting Brunswick. There's a couple new NRHPs there now, and it's a nice area. Btw, I'm always happy to see my pictures being used, doncha know. Cheers! :)
- From your photos it looks like a beautiful area. If you do make it back up there we don't have any photos for the Windsor Park Historic District. At least I didn't find any. Seems to be a suburban area outside Brunswick that got developed in the late 1920s. Not as cool as Brunswick as far as I can tell. Thanks again and enjoy the sunshine. Candleabracadabra (talk) 12:54, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

I created an article on this subject. Didn't see any photos for the Henry A. DeLand House Museum or Lue Gim Gong Memorial Garden (named for Lue Gim Gong). I wonder if a combined article for the Historical Society might be the best approach? Candleabracadabra (talk) 22:23, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- I found the DeLand House Museum article and photo. Did you see a gazebo or anything about a garden? Candleabracadabra (talk) 22:33, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

- You are going to town, aintcha? There is a gazebo at the DeLand House Museum, but did not take any pictures of it. I may have taken photos of the Lue Gim Gong plaque. A combined article does sound best, since there's not enough on each to make one for each, I'd think.
- I rather like DeLand. My fave horror author H.P. Lovecraft, visited there back in the day. Anyhoo, keep the work that is good up. :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Border Town ‖ 03:19, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi Ebyabe. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Another Believer (Talk) 15:56, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

reason was - it is gossip , not reliable - not verified by the person - crap sources reporting the weak story, seen out together is not a relationship and so what also - if they get engaged and they actually talk about the get together then ok - but so far,,, nothing - just according to the opinion of the daily mail Mosfetfaser (talk) 20:12, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
The couple "have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends," Wesley's rep confirmed to People magazine.[3] He is currently dating The Originals (TV Series) star Phoebe Tonkin.[4] [5]
this is totally rubbish - it is a press release - who cares if their press spokesperson says the will continue to be good friends - it's in the future - not happened yet

Hi Ebyabe! I'm trying to understand the difference between Punta Gorda Fish Company Ice House and Punta Gorda Ice Plant. At the moment they are using the same pictures, but from the references you used in Lee County and Charlotte County they look different: did you visit the two sites? Ciao, Pietro (talk) 06:15, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
- I can't believe I mixed those two up. The ice plant is in Punta Gorda. The ice house is off Captiva Island. It's part of the List of historic Fish Cabins of Charlotte Harbor, Florida. I never got shots of them since you need a boat to get to them. I removed the photo in the ice house infobox. Hello Ebyabe. I've been asked by the Spring House Institute of which I am board member to make some corrections and additions to the Lewis House page.
For one, Byrd Lewis says this house was never called Lewis House as her father George Lewis said there were already 2 houses called Lewis in town and he wanted something different.
We'd also like better photos. Much of the content at the SHI website could be used.
Being a brand new Wiki editor, I am lost as to what to do myself and would appreciate some help. Looks like you created the page and do a lot of updating. Changing the title name that is also used in links seems like a big deal to me and I sure don't want to screw it up. Heck this thing about ending a talk with 4 tildes is a mystery.
No idea how you reply but I'll "watch this page" and hope.
Thanks - Scott
Swcopeland (talk) 14:11, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- You did the right thing; I'll reply here. :) I created the article for Lewis House (Tallahassee, Florida) back in 2006. Part of my mission at the time to have at least a short article on all the Florida NRHPs. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the 'Lewis House', which is why I created it under that name. But if it is more commonly known as the Spring House, just supply some reliable sources to that effect and we should be able to move it to that name. The name in the NRHP infobox will stay the Lewis House, though, as that's the standard since it's information about it as an NRHP listing.
- I'd be delighted to see the article expanded. I created the NRHP stubs years ago in hopes that would happen. Just use reliable sources to validate the data added. That does include not just internet accessible stuff, but books too. You know, those things made out of lots of sheets of paper? :) But don't just copy stuff word-for-word. Content here (words and pictures) must be freely available. No copyright infringing.
- If you have other questions, drop me a line and I'll answer as soon as I can. If you want a quicker response, or second opinion, you can also ask at the WP:HELPDESK or the Talk page of the NRHP WikiProject. Cheers! --‖ Ebyabe talk - Repel All Boarders ‖ 00:15, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi Ebyabe!. I'm trying to complete the pages of NRHP sites in Florida using the statistics in the project progress and the information provided by the script Dudemanfellabra/NRHPstats.js. My problem are the the counties' lists (like Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Escambia, Pasco, and Union) apparently fully populated, but declared as incomplete: do you know how to identify the missing articles? Ciao, Pietro (talk) 06:40, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- That's odd. It may be an error in the script. I've done enough coding to know that happens sometimes. You should drop a line to DMFB about it. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Health and Welfare ‖ 14:04, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't even think about the 'List of' articles. I created them so long ago I forgot. Now I remember that I was making so many stubs, I was looking for any shortcuts I could. Figuring they could always be made into articles later. And there you go. :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Attract and Repel ‖ 16:32, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- A single page for a MPS or TR instead of multiple indipendent stubs is not a bad idea: I don't think that you can collect enough information to write good articles for all of them. Moreover, most of the lists (like Opa-locka TR, Homestead MPS, Miami Shores TR) work fine. I really don't understand what is wrong with Woman's Clubhouses :) --Pietro (talk) 19:06, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

Based on the number of photographs, you must have spent about two days in Glynn County, Georgia (my county). Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 07:34, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- Technically true. Got into Brunswick late on August 18, 2011 and spent the night there. Then toured the city the next day, followed by St. Simons and Jekyll islands. I like getting as many photos as I can, especially on the longer trips. So I don't spend much time in any one spot. But I really liked Brunswick, and wouldn't mind revisiting. - I took the Wikipedia National Register info from 24 counties in southeast Georgia and pasted it into a word file for easy reference. The rural counties have a lot of National Register sites that don't have photos. I'm going to get to a lot of them (I've already done some). I've planed out some routes, like "I can get to these three counties in an afternoon", or "I can get that one on the way to ...". BTW, my family owns a National Register site, McCranie's Turpentine Still. When it was put on the Register in 1976, I think that was the first time I'd heard of the N.R. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 00:11, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- Cool! I used to do theatre in an NRHP (Baird Hardware Company Warehouse) and live near an NHL (Fort King).
- I use Microsoft Excel so I can organize and sort my lists. I always create my itineraries with way more spots than I can get to, rather than run out. Google Maps has led me astray on occasion, but with Google Street View, you can reccy to see if the addresses are accurate. Well, accurate-ish.
- I'd wanted to do more of Georgia, since I've got most of the sites in Florida photographed. But I haven't had the wherewithal of late. Hopefully that will change in the foreseeable future, as I do love the roadtripping. I live in Ocala, which is ideally located to get anywhere in Florida, and only a couple of hours from the Georgia line. Anyhoo, good luck and enjoy your travels. If there's you'd like any suggestions or advice, feel free to ask. Like, when you travel when it's warmer you should freeze water in several varying size bottles, so you have cold water all day. A cooler helps too. :) --‖ Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites ‖ 01:33, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- Our site went on the registry on June 28, 1976 - it might be the last one to go on the list before the bicentennial. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 01:55, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- No, it wasn't the last - sometimes several are added per day. But that is about a mile from where I grew up. And when you were at Needwood Baptist Church and School and Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, you were a mile or two from where I live now. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 03:23, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
I recommend that you get a better camera, probably a bridge camera. There are good ones in the $200-300 range. I got my daughter a Fujifilm Finepix for Xmas. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 is a quite good one, for $300. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 04:37, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
