Dave
The ip address that contributed to your subject came from an ip address that is held by an network at a VET school in Adelaide, South Australia.
We have no idea who did it and are therefore unable to do something about it

Hi, Dave :) I found your page thru the Mediation Cabal page. I'm a little discouraged and confused and I'd like to ask for your help. See, I came across this article that somebody added a redirect. without moving the page, and then this user Moe Epsilon blanked the article and changed the redirect to Haji Mohammad Suharto. I think the latter is some sort of vandalism (I'm not sure) since Haji Mohammad Suharto has suppressed Chinese culture during his rule and this may be a disrespect towards Chinese Indonesian. Anyway, I moved the talk page and asked for a WP:SPLICE request. And when I was going to leave a talk on Moe Epsilon talk page, I was discouraged by the user's talk page. Seems there's been conflicts with this user for almost the entire talk page. So, I went looking for help and I found you. What do you think? Is this somekind of vandalism? What steps should be taken on this issue? Sorry to bother you for this, but thanks in advance. Feureau 05:29, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Please help me with a WIKI arbitration on the India-Pakistan section of French aircraft carrier the FN CHarles de Gaulle article page. There is a user (who was also involved int BLUE WATER NAVIES discussions) who keep on reverting unilaterally to sections that involve unverified claims (in my opinion). Despite my reasons and request for a consensus posted in the discussion pages, they are either rebuffed or discarded. What are the WIKI rules? Please arbitrate. I do not know how to call for an arbitration. Thanks. 80.200.125.62 00:39, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the swift user-page revert! Blimey, I didn't even see that one coming. I don't think I've even had any dealings with them today. Unless that was a real award they were leaving me. :) Bubba hotep 21:40, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
You reverted my edit but I'm only trying to help expand the links as it wanted. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:71.96.65.155

Why did you alter my fine editing of the Tweede Kamer page? I find it highly offensive, and I would appreciate it if you allowed me to express myself as I see fit. Thank you for your concern.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkey999 (talk • contribs)
Hello, you "reverted" graciously my entry on "failed states", where I included Canada on a list that read "In recent years various political commentators have labelled many countries as failed states, including Afghanistan, Iraq,Srilanka, Pakistan, Israel, Timor Leste, Haiti, Somalia, Yemen, and the Solomon Islands." Maybe your name indicate a bias and maybe you doo not feel like canada is a failed state, yet it has been argued in recent years by various political commentators that Canada is a failed state, for example here http://www.thepolitic.com/archives/2005/05/04/canada-failed-state-or-failed-people/. If it can be argued that Israel is a failed state and you can argue that to me, it is certainly possible to argue that Canada is too, after years of constitutional instability. Please hold on interferrence.

If you read what the page says, you will see that it specifically states NOT to revert any edits by me (211.28.235.242) to his page. you will note that he himself wrote that (check edit history).
Thanks for reverting the vandalism of my user page... if you're curious the vandal is almost certainly the same guy who keeps re-adding defamatory material to S. M. Stirling, which I've been cleaning up. - Merzbow 06:53, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for spotting and reverting the corruption of my user page. This is the first time I have been the target of such action. You may have noticed that the individual in question made a posting on the Humanities Desk that same day, expressing concerns about his alleged sexuality. In his place I would be much more worried about my command of the basic rules of English grammar! Anyway, I am pleased to have been under your protection. If I can assist you in any way, please let me know. Clio the Muse 08:52, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
I considered nominating all of them at once, but only did one to try to gauge consensus. If you feel it is appropriate, I encourage you to nominate the rest. Khatru2 21:51, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello,
While I was browsing the entry for Orson Scott Card I found a message flag on top of the page from you. Unfortunately, I think the person who edited this page (or any wikipedia page, for that matter) has moved on to a new IP address. I've read many a wikipedia entry, but I have never edited, created, or commented on any.
Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.33.109.132 (talk • contribs)
Dear Canadian Bacon. Today the Transnistria page has been reopened after been locked for five weeks. Within hours of the openeing agreed edits were made in accordance with Wikipedoa rukes and these changes are fully debated and decided on. I made the edits and within hours MariusM and user 148.233.299.235 reverted the intro. This is a very contentious page and every edit is clarefully debated and we finally had an agreement. I note you had issues with this user before. The edits made by these guys today are the iddentical edits made by Evilalex an self confessed edit warrior that originally caused the page to be blocked. Can you assist us please. Mark us street Nov 27th 2006
You keep beating me at reverting vandalism. Please stop:-). Mmm, Bacon. Now I am hungry. Have a nice day. Rettetast 19:45, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi there; for the record and away from the discussion page, if I have bitten any newbies it was certainly accidental. I have two adoptees, and get a number of incoming help requests from other beginners. If you look at my response to the user above you in the RfA page, you will see what my thoughts were on the article and user in question. Please do not think that I am trying to canvass support, because I am not; my request stand or (in this case) falls on its merits. But I would just like it known that I do not bite newcomers. I got bitten a few times myself, and know what it feels like!--Anthony.bradbury 21:48, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, we have a heavy backload of cases at WP:MEDCAB and since you are on the mediator list I thought I would request your help. Thanks! --Ideogram 10:44, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Just a quick note to say thanks for your support on my recent RfA. It became clear very quickly that my editing background was going to detrimental to my nomination. Having seen other recent RfA's fail once one or two admins opposed and others just piled on the vote, I decided it would save the ignominy if I withdrew my nomination. I don't intend to change the work I do as it's what I enjoy, so it'll be unlikely I'll apply again. Anyway thanks again for taking the time to review my nomination and giving your support. Regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 11:43, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your support with my RfA. My nomination succeeded. I appreciate your support. I've seen you while RC patrolling lots of times. If there is anything I can do to help you out, please feel free to ask. Thanks again! =) -- Gogo Dodo 06:38, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Are you ready to get started?
The waiting time over at Admin coaching is long (some people have been waiting in line since July). I'm an admin coach with the project, and for my students I set up a group discussion page so that we could all learn from each other. The scope of this concept has expanded into the Virtual classroom, which is an open forum for the teaching and learning of advanced Wikipedia skills.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate, as a student, as a coach, or both. Every week or two a new major topic of discussion or classroom assignment is introduced, usually with a guest writer who presents his or her expertise on the current subject and who remains on hand to answer questions. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussions, such as sharing your expertise, asking and answering questions, etc.
The current topic of discussion is vandalism, and our guest writer is Budgiekiller.
All discussions are open-ended, so all previous discussion topics and classroom assignments are still there for viewing and further participation. There are also sections for posting miscellaneous topics and questions, requesting coaching assistance, etc.
In addition to inviting those who would like to learn, I routinely invite experts from all over Wikipedia to come and contribute for the benefit of all. The VC is rapidly turning into a clearing house of the best resources, methods, and techniques known for working on Wikipedia.
You are cordially invited to participate.
Here's an announcement box which you can place on your userpage or at the top of your talk page for keeping up to date with classroom assignments.
I hope to see you there. Sincerely, The Transhumanist 07:58, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Don't you think it was a hilarious edit? 142.104.214.186 18:26, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Hello Canadian-Bacon. I've been witnessing your work for a few months now, and according to the admin coaching program, you might be interested in becoming an admin. I believe that you already have what it takes, so are you planning to attempt an RfA soon? I reckon that other users might have offered to nominate you already, but if you need someone else, count me in. :-) Regards,--Húsönd 23:57, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
I put up an optional additional question up on your RFA. If you don't want to answer it, I completely understand. Good luck with the nom! Sharkface217 03:42, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Well if you'd rather everyone didn't bother with the support votes and left you to answering questions, I'm sure you could ask ;).... - WJBscribe (WJB talk) 04:00, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for RVVing das idiot off my talk page. Mr. Johnny Rebel Dipstick Chewtoy's getting mad; I like that. Methinks he needs to watch his blood pressure. Nice work determining that troll was vandalising, as it was subtle. He's a sock of a long term vandal who seems to have a bone to pick with me, so if you see anything similar please let me know ASAP. Good luck on your RFA too - you've certainly got my support :) Glen 06:45, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the support of my RfA. It was a very humbling yet surprisingly gratifying experience. I am grateful for all the constructive comments that will undoubtedly make me a better contributer, and hopefully a stronger candidate in the future. Grika 14:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your support in my RfA, which I have chosen to withdraw early at a final count of (10/8/3) as it was unlikely to gain consensus. Most users wanted me to be more experienced, so I shall continue to contribute and reapply sometime in the future. I am grateful for the kind words I was given, and will do my best to improve in the areas that were cited as my weaknesses. Please always feel free to help me along with a suggestion on how I could improve, and if you ever need help, I am ever at your service. Best as always, Dar-Ape 23:19, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi, Canadian-Bacon, Sorry, I haven't been to the web page listed ("Attack on Pearl Harbor")- so I'm not sure how I could have deleted it! I guess I've received this message in error, then. Wow! You broke the 100-support-vote barrier and gained a 98% support for your adminship - that's pretty cool! I just wanted to say well done now as your RfA will finish after I end this admin shift. If you have any questions about using your shiny new admin tools after a Bureaucrat has come along to bolt them on to the top of your page, then please ask. I am still trying to work out what some of them do myself! Regards and happy mopping, (aeropagitica) 00:39, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi. First of all I wanted to state I am not involved in the article in any way, it just happened to have popped up in the RC feed. I was going to remove the db notice but you deleted the page faster than me ;). I am a bit puzzled by the fact of removing a redirection to be honest :), and well I learned in school that pact was called German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact so it can be understandable some people learned the name the other way. Well it was just my 2 cents at this late hour. good night! -- lucasbfr talk 07:07, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
I approve of you fixing the changes made by Bobby Boulders on your user page. He was wrong to say, and I quote, "y'all's RACISS!!". It's fairly obvious your not "Raciss", as is proven by your left wing attidude, which is more of a Lenin/Marx type thing. Power to the people, down with the bourgeoisie, and all that jazz...

It's starting to be Christmas day in a lot of the world, and there aren't a lot of admins around to take care of the vandals. So I'm awarding you the RickK barnster for blocking a lot of vandals listed at WP:AIV, that would have continued to vandalize since it seemed like there weren't any other users monitoring it. TeckWizTalkContribs@ 02:36, 25 December 2006 (UTC) |

simply reverting article's, dosnt make you better nor does it praise wikipedia.

The user vandalized Tera Patrick at 21:42 UTC, and I saw the AIV report and issued a missing t4 warning at 21:43 UTC. You stated on Wikipedia:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism that the links he's providing seem to confirm the statistics that he is providing. The problem is that they do not. He's providing different numbers than the source states, which is why this is a (rather frustrating) case of vandalism. I just wanted to let you know that, and in the meantime, I'm putting this back up on the Administrator page, so that hopefully we can get rid of this guy. Dlong 15:07, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
About " Dan Ar Wern " deletion : Thanks for your understanding , and , by the way , I wish you a happy New Year ! How is it in Canada ? However , Dan is a very nice guy , trying only to make his culture known for all those who consider "France " as a monolithic way of thinking , without differences and minorities . I think it's the same in Northern America . So , I deplore this fact Wikipedia beeing too much like the others , and not open enough to all those who have not yet won the Nobel Prize . On my opinion ,it should be different , and , beeing an " open door " to different sensibilities and people working for better understanding throughout the world . But please , stop considering people like only " deleted material " . It's really offending ! A friend of Dan . —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.214.92.117 (talk • contribs).
