Thank you so much for giving my article a peer review. That was exactly what I was after and has given me lots of excellent pointers on how to write an article to a high standard. I really appreciate you taking time out to do this for me! --Mulletsrokkify (talk) 08:35, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome, let me know if you have any questions about my suggestions.--BelovedFreak 16:08, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you again for taking time to review my article and giving help to a beginner. I have made (hopefully bold!) edits to the article in line with your suggestions, the only difficulty I encountered was locating suitable images for the article. I did locate the company logo, which I have used, but pictures of the products and the former premises were under non-free licences, so not usable.... Would you be able to give the article another review? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! --Mulletsrokkify (talk) 08:00, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Glad you've found it useful. I'm probably going to be quite busy over the next day or too, but I will have another look when I get the chance.--BelovedFreak 08:57, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Excuse the newbie again!;-) Please take your time! It wasn't my intention to pester you, apologies if my reply seemed that way. I'd just value your input if you are able. Thanks! --Mulletsrokkify (talk) 17:10, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Didn't see this message 'til now for some reason. Don't worry you're not pestering. Just a bit busy and generally lacking in concentration for various reasons, but I will definitely have a look this weekend.--BelovedFreak 22:01, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for giving the article another review. As regards the logo, I had to create it myself (in a graphics package) as any pictures are very rare and absolutely non-existent on the internet, hence the self-made status. I wasn't sure what copyright this would need, so I erred on the side of caution.... I'll get on with the edits and thank you again for your help! --mulletsrokkify 18:27, 22 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mulletsrokkify (talk • contribs)
Hi, I put the Phil Taylor article up for PR, it would be great if you would review it. Mr.Kennedy1talk 11:27, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm going to be busy the next couple of days, but I will look at it again when I get a chance. Sorry, I was meaning to before but I forgot, so thanks for letting me know about the peer review. It might be worth asking people from relevant wikiprojects to take a look too, as I won't be able to comment too much about the subject matter.--BelovedFreak 08:56, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I have removed the prod tag you placed on RPM for Turntables and Orchestra, as an editor's comments on the talk page indicate that deletion is not uncontroversial. Please take to AfD if you still wish to have the article deleted. Thanks! —KuyaBriBriTalk 16:47, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for that - but I'm glad someone is concerned like I am. I like your userpage, it looks so good! Best wishes Hekerui (talk) 17:54, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your help with the Selena article and Ajona btw are you interested in a RFA. You are highly qualified. Thanks Secretaccount 17:08, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome. I'm not sure that adminship isn't more trouble than it's worth, to be honest. Thanks anyway!:) --BelovedFreak 09:02, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
With adminship it just gives you extra tools just in case you need something that an admin do, like protecting a page that is being constantly vandalised on your watchlist, you don't need to be active with the tools, but it's something that can be helpful. Secretaccount
Yeah, I know, thanks;) --BelovedFreak 09:06, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Ok let me know when you are ready for the tools, I'll be glad to nominate you. Secretaccount 22:18, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Ok, thanks.--BelovedFreak 09:18, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
I second Secret's motion, you'd make a great admin and since you are active around mainspace areas such as DYK it would help you with your work. Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм|Champagne? 00:59, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Actually there is something else you could do for me. I'm thinking of nominating Wintjiya Napaltjarri at WP:FAC. Would you take a look at the prose for me? That would be great if you were willing. hamiltonstone (talk) 00:21, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll look into the music article.--BelovedFreak 09:46, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Firstly I'd like to thank you for you support of the wiki project in general. Then I'd like to note that you have created half a century of your varied articles. Well done! Reviewing GAs, flitting around adding to others - brilliant. Lots of bios and I'm particularly impressed by the African and female contribution which starts to address our systemic bias. You have registered over 50 on the DYK board. The wiki is all the more richer for your contributions. Thank you. Victuallers (talk) 09:09, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

I just addressed most of the concerns with the article, the only thing I need help is with prose I'm mildly dylexsic so I can't work with that. I removed as much fan language as possible. Thanks Secretaccount 03:46, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
I will try to have a look at it today and see if I can help.--BelovedFreak 09:09, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Beloved I was wondering if it is not too much trouble that if you could upload a short version of File:Betterintime.ogg. I'll nominate the article Better in Time (not this version) soon for a GA and since you helped me with som stuff of "Manic Monday" the last time, you would help me with a sample, I would do it myself, but I don't know how to do it. Thank you TbhotchTalkC. 06:31, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I don't if you've been looking at the Phil Taylor article but I am just letting you know that I will make the changes you suggested and I am in no way ignoring them. I'm near finished Philica's suggestions and moving on to yours. I'll make sure to let you know if the article gets GA status. Thanks. Mr.Kennedy1talkguestbook 20:38, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
No problem, take your time! Hope the suggestions help.--BelovedFreak 21:57, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I've addressed several issues listed in the GAR, in case you didn't know a Livre, in this case the French livre was a currency introduced by Charlemagne. Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм|Champagne? 00:51, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for that, a quick glance at Livre gives three possibilities, but it's too distracting for a reader to be searching for unfamiliar words. A wikilink to the correct article helps no end! Thanks for working on the article, I'll get back to the GAR today.:) --BelovedFreak 11:17, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome, looking up at your talk page I noticed users considered nominating you for Adminship, that request is still open. You're work is very much appreciated and you are an invaluable asset to the community. I would be willing to nominate you. Also with the GAR what direction do you think the article is headed in? The article is not too hard to get up to scratch like, George Washington, and it is sufficiently well-written considering we have users who's first language is not English who contribute to the article and might I add they are doing a superb job. Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм|Champagne? 07:52, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your kind words. To be honest, being an administator seems less inviting the longer I edit here. Maybe one day, but my focus is elsewhere at the moment. Thanks anyway. As far as the GAR goes, I think the main problem is that the person fixing the prose needs to have the sources that were used in writing it in the first place. I tried to tidy up as much of the obvious stuff as I could before starting the GAR, but there is a lot there that is ambiguous or confusing, and needs the original source material to sort it out. It's all very well you or I "fixing" things, but if we are unfamiliar with the topic & sources (which I certainly am) then we may inadvertently introduce more errors. Ideally, the person who nominated the article originally would be able to help out, but that doesn't seem to be happening.--BelovedFreak 17:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Indeed, I did actually have to look up other articles to make sure that my edits were correct. Indeed I nominated the latest contributors via MessageDeliveryBot, some of them did some cleanup etc. I agree, the article isn't "unfixable" but we need experts in this topic-area, oh alright, I'll respect your thoughts on adminship. —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 03:50, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi again, as it seems the GAR hasn't gotten anywhere. What would you suggest we do since there is no consensus established yet. —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 7:30pm • 09:30, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I've reverted your closure. It's only been open for a week, they usually get up to 4 weeks if consensus isn't immediately apparent. The trouble with GAR is that not many people take part, so it can be a slow process. Also, although it could be argued that there is "no consensus to delist", I would suggest that based on the comments there at the moment, I, Frania W. and SilkTork are in favour of delisting and only you are not. Give it some time for others to comment if they wish. Your best bet to keep it listed would be to get the GA nominator involved, who presumably (I would hope) has access to the sources used. The prose still needs work though.--BelovedFreak 11:18, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
That's the problem, the GA Nom is inactive. When you notified him (I assume this since his username contains Phillipe) he did not respond nor did he once comment on the GAR page. I shall notify him again if I remember the rest of his username. Regards, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 9:22pm • 11:22, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Strange, why isn't he participating in the GAR? Anyway I think the article can be delisted now. Regards, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 3:23pm • 05:23, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Nevermind, article delisted. Thanks for the feedback and constructive comments:) Regards, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 3:25pm • 05:25, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi, it is not officially delisted yet as the reassessment discussion is still open. They can usually stay open up to four weeks to allow consensus to develop. Sorry to only just be replying, but I was trying to find a better answer for you. In this case, it looks like consensus is to delist and it will probably be closed soon, but I'm not 100% sure of the protocol. I don't feel that I should close it since I initiated the reassessment. Not very many people participate at WP:GAR, so it can be a slow process. As I say though, in this case, it looks like it can be wrapped up soon.--BelovedFreak 09:05, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I'm finished the peer review on Phil Taylor. Thank you so much for your suggestions! Do you think it is ready to be nominated again. Thanks again for the suggestions. Mr.Kennedy1talkguestbook 19:51, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Hello, I have completed a general cleanup of the adopter information page for the adopt-a-user project, located here. During my cleanup, I have removed several inactive and retired users. In order to provide interested adoptees with an easy location to find adopters, it is essential that the page be up-to-date with the latest information possible. Thus:
If you are no longer interested in being an adopter, please remove yourself from the list.
If you are still interested, please check the list to see if any information needs to be updated or added - especially your availability. Thank you.
You are receiving this message because you are listed as an adopter here.

Thank you for your comments on some of my edits. I'm working to address the issues, i.e., to try to defend some, but not all, of my decisions and explain why I made them in the first place. I thought I would make some comments on the Discussion page, but maybe you don't think I should do that. I thought that, since you are far more experienced than I am with WP, I would defer to your judgment.
I'll continue to do some more copyediting, almost all in relationship to punctuation (mostly commas).
BTW, I had no idea that this was a Featured Article till I went to the Discussion page. Congratulations! I was sad to see how much of a critical drubbing the film received, though. I've always been attached to it. It seems to me to have been misunderstood, even in the simple matter of its intended audience(s). I wonder if the lack of real thought given to it came about partly, or mostly, because the filmmaker was a woman. Scrawlspacer (talk) 10:50, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Feel free to comment at the article talkpage, it would probably be more useful to have discussion there to allow others to participate. Please do defend your edits if you think I was wrong to revert, or to disagree or whatever. Copyediting's fine; I'm the first to admit that my work often needs a bit of help from others and it's particularly helpful to have someone look at it from the American POV. The commas you've added, for example, are a point of difference between British and American English, so that's all good. The fact that it is featured (and that I had a lot to do with writing it) means that I do watch changes closely and am quite strict about any I'm not sure about. However, just because it's featured doesn't mean it can't be worked on & improved. It got through WP:FAC nearly three years ago, when standards weren't quite what they are now, and I don't doubt that it can be improved quite a bit, so go for it! As I say, discussion about the actual edits probably best kept to the article talkpage, and I'll join you there!:) --BelovedFreak 17:06, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Hmm. One more thing. Do you think it needs a filmography list? Most of his roles are one-episode or quartenary characters. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 19:00, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
I'd say no, if that's your feeling on it. I can't say that I noticed the absence of a filmography, since that's not what he's mainly known for. I don't know, others may say differently so I'd be prepared for it to come up at GAN, but I think it's ok without.--BelovedFreak 12:10, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
