The current convention in regards to shielding is that we only put them on articles about specific routes. So the A8 would get one, but the Gore Hill Freeway would not :) -- Nbound (talk) 03:36, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
If you are interested in Australian roads by the way, you should join the wikiproject. (link in section title). You can keep abreast of and help influence decisions in regards to AU roads and the guidelines and conventions we are using. :) -- Nbound (talk) 03:57, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi Ausmeerkat! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
I am thinking of renaming the current M2 (Sydney) page to M2/A2 (Sydney), meaning the article will talk about both motorway and non-motorway sections. This is because it is an overview and as you said, having two separate overviews seems to be an "overkill". What do you think? Marcnut1996 (talk) 07:57, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
Thanks Ausmeerkat for your prompt update to the Victorian route shielding of the Calder Highway. Just a quick note that C282 has not been uploaded and is currently read as x15px in the Major Intersections & Towns table. If you like, I can post some additional Victorian route numbers that need to be converted if you wish to, and will progressively upgrade all Victorian roads with your fantastic updated shields. Cheers --Rom rulz424 (talk) 01:41, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
@Rom rulz424: - If you need any further shields, please post them on WP:AURD/S - There may be a short delay while I transfer the shields from Commons back to Wikipedia (They may not be PD in Australia). Theres no point if I upload them to commons when they'll be on WP within the week. Ausmeerkat has already requested two further shields so far. All the shields in your former set have already been converted (unless I missed one or two XD). -- Nbound (talk) 04:14, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Barkly Highway may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 11:59, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

If you want to discuss the issue of the Pacific Motorway, discuss it, but do not edit-war, which could end up in a block. Start a formal discussion on the talk page by all means, and advertise it at WP:AURD but while discussion is underway (as it is now) you should respect WP:BRD and note that the WP:STATUSQUO reigns. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:07, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
As a past editor of at least one of the articles, you may wish to comment at Talk:South Eastern Freeway#2015 Merge proposal for a new proposal to merge these two articles as it appears the government now considers it to be all one road. As there will be quite a bit of work, I decided to consult before being bold. --Scott Davis Talk 22:25, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Good work on the removal of borders for NSW alphanumeric route markers. However, would you mind creating one for M12 too? Marcnut1996 (talk) 02:42, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of road routes in the Australian Capital Territory, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kings Avenue. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
