Hi there Seadog :)
No, Banes never said on Wiki that he was going into retirement, which is why, I guess, there's a bit of confusion. I'm afraid I'm not really sure of the actually final reasons of why Banes left. I know he was becoming more and more busy, and he didn't have as much access to a computer as he would like. He did say that it wasn't anything serious or any bitter feelings that made him leave, which is good. He also wanted me to make it known that his departure is not his taking a stand against the cabal or anything like that. I guess that sometimes, people just have to move on for awhile :( However, he did hint that he will be back sometime.....
Hope this answers your question, and if I can be of anymore help, then just tell me :)
Hey Seadog, thanks for the barnstar :) I'm not sure how much I deserve it - I had heaps of help :) But thanks anyway. Congratulations on hitting 3K edits - here's hoping there are many more to come! :) riana_dzasta 04:19, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

I just had a turkey day dinner so I have to catch up on all my messages! Thanks, mate! I did have a good time with my family and hope you will/did/are, too! I added myself to your friends list (which was kinda the point of the message, but I got off track a little). Cheers! :) —Rand fan!!02:34, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, here it is. Since you are a vegetarian, well, er...this has nothing to do with a Thanksgiving dinner, I guess you can pretend this is Tofurkey. I couldn't find an image of it, so I found something similar to it! The point is, Have a Happy (Vegetarian) Thanksgiving! ¡Cheers, amigo!
Wow! I never thought I would get an award for that! Thanks so much! And by the way, I heard about Tofurkey on the news today. Ick, i reccomend you don't try it, it looks pretty nasty! Whatever. Anyways, thanks again!!! Bwa ha ha! I'm as happy as well......err....well, I'm just overjoyed! Sorry, my brain is in hysterics for that award. Can't think right, ahhhhh!!!! Okay, bye. 04:02, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi Seadog MS
I just got the note below from you.
Thank you for experimenting with the page Pakistan on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. -- Lost(talk) 15:51, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I've never visited the Pakistan page. The only edit I've made was a correction to the Blackcurrant Tango section of the Tango page. I don't know how these got confused.
I'm a great believer in Wikipedia's potential, but it's frustrating if the technology isn't working.
I'll register as that will probably remove any doubts as to my authenticity for future corrections.
Thnaks for the message!

Cool! I liked the thought! And a Randfan B-star? Hmmmm.... I dunno.... I hope it never has to be made (for the reasons we're making the E@L/Kyoko ones)! Well, cheers, mate! :) —Rand fan!!03:07, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!!!! Once again, I would help... But I don't know anything about it! I really enjoyed the humour in it! Ihave no doubt that your works will reach FA status! Once again, thanks! You're welcome. However, I've seen worse vandalism. I remember once, before I became an admin, somebody's vandalism crashed my whole computer. :) -→Buchanan-Hermit™/?! 04:11, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, you're on the right track. I'm sure you can do it; when your RfA comes up, be sure to give me a heads-up. :) -→Buchanan-Hermit™/?! 04:47, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi Seadog - I recently uploaded this painting from a photo I had myself, if you feel it is suitable in the Hinduism article to replace the missing Rama? Good luck on your 1008th edit. Cheers, ys Gouranga(UK) 12:29, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Seadog, I don't think you can use smiley images on your sig, because that goes against Wiki Policy. Fredil got on to me about it. And, I hope that using smileys won't "de-admin" you. Bearly541 12:51, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
