Hello Amkgp,
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.
Six Month Queue Data: Today – 2262 Low – 2232 High – 10271

On the DYK discussion, please check out Beethoven. I suggested to have several hooks concerning Beethoven around 17 December - his 250th anniversary of baptism. The first such prep is 5 where I hoped to see one of the two images, as many believe that he was born on 16 December, + it's already 17 some places in the world. The other pic could go to prep 7, because during most of prep 6, Europeans sleep. What do you think? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:19, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello Amkgp. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ramya Behara, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Sources provided this time (there weren't any before), are sufficient to pass CSD. Needs to go back to AfD if necessary. Thank you. GedUK 10:30, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
On 14 December 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article King Ludwig Oak, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that King Ludwig Oak (pictured) is a natural monument named after its admirer, Ludwig I of Bavaria? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/King Ludwig Oak. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, King Ludwig Oak), and it may be added to the statistics page if it received over 400 views per hour. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi Amkgp, I hope you're doing well. I noticed that you may have been creating articles by (machine-)translating them from the German Wikipedia without attribution; the ones I discovered were this, this, this, this, this and this. However, this would constitute a copyright violation, since CC BY-SA requires attribution. I'm not sure whether this applies to other articles too (potentially ones translated from languages that I don't speak), but I want to ask you go through your creations and attribute properly where needed. Thanks. Blablubbs|talk 17:52, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Ferronickel platinum is an unattributed translation of de:Ferronickelplatin, Luis Leon Masson is an unattributed translation of es:Luis Leon Masson, and Anandalahari is an unattributed translation of ru:Анандалахари. Not only that but, here's some text copyright violations: , , , . That's a lot of violations- I don't want to do this, but it looks like I don't have a choice. I'm going to block you for 1 month instead of indefinitely, hopefully this will be a wake up call. Moneytrees🏝️Talk🌴Help out at CCI! 21:39, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
The block was due to unattributed translation and few copyvio concerns. That my fault. I have devoting much time and effort to the project. I have a series of creations to be creating in line including creation of COVID-19 vaccine pages. I can assure such things will never occur again. I have already added {{Translated page}} details at the respective talk pages and in the process of adding to others. Also, I will rewrite text that editors are finding objectionable. The pages that has been pointed detect a copyvio around 20% and I am willing to fix all the things immediately. Please unblock me. — Amkgp 💬 04:32, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Per below, this is convincing assurance- please don't go off of earwig percentage though, instead go off of what is highlighted. Moneytrees🏝️Talk🌴Help out at CCI! 05:39, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
The complaint was taken to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) after which a high court judge found the four teachers guilty of flouting IIT Kanpur's conduct code and the SC/ST Preventions Atrocities Act.which is almost an exact copy of the source
The complaint was taken to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) after which a high court judge found the four teachers guilty of flouting IIT-K’s conduct code and the SC/ST Preventions Atrocities Act.regardless of the percent that earwig's throws up, that's still copyvio. I'm not familiar with the specific case here, just thought I'd point out what moneytrees was likely referring to by saying "please don't go off of earwig percentage though, instead go off of what is highlighted", Eddie891 Talk Work 15:41, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
