Hi there! I thought you might be interested in WikiProject Wikify's December Wikification Backlog Elimination Drive. We'll be trying to reduce the backlog size by over 1,000 articles and we need your help! Hard-working participants in the drive will receive awards for their contributions, including a brand new one for the single largest wikified article! All you have to do is put an asterisk next to the largest article you've wikified, and coordinators will check its wordcount after the drive ends. If you have a spare moment, please join and wikify an article or tell your friends. Thanks!
Note: The drive starts December 1, and you can sign up today!
Hello, this is an automated message to inform you that although most messages were delivered (see contributions) some errors were encountered while processing your delivery request (Invitation to the December Wikification Drive). Hello, Alyo. You have new messages at Assassin's Creed's talk page. Message added 17:15, 2 December 2011 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any timeby removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
You recommended a new page I posted Texas Services for people with disabilities in Bexar County for immediate deletion for G11 reasons. Please send me a copy of the page so I may learn and understand what there was about the information being posted that you found "promotional". Thank you. Ahill1225 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahill1225 (talk • contribs) 21:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi there Ahill, and thanks for coming here instead of just trying to recreate your article. I have asked the deleting admin to come by, but I don't know that he will give you a copy. (Note that I don't have the ability to see your article right now.) Until then, you may wish to read a short paragraph he has written about G11. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 21:31, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
It would be enormously helpful if you could be specific about what you considered promotional or advertisement in the article. The information was intended to provide a roadmap of sorts as each state implements federal programming different in this field. Consequently, people will query the internet for information on how it is done in each locale.Ahill1225 (talk) 22:43, 2 December 2011 (UTC) AHill1225
Nolelover - I have read the reference page you sent. Was your delete recommendation made because of all the external links I had included? if so, if they were omitted from the article, would it pass muster? Thanks for the feedback. Ahill1225 (talk) 23:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
Alright Ahill, User:Thingg has helpfully posted the article in his sandbox, so I can help you a bit better now. Now, when it comes to advertising content, its easy to point some things out. When you think of an ad, what comes to mind? Maybe a very description of the product, and positive information that makes a person want to use it. Of course, a method of contacting the provider would also be in there. Without even getting into some other potential problems the article has, I can say that it would require a "fundamental rewrite" to get rid of all the advert-ish content, and that's why it was deleted. For specific examples, I point to all the phone numbers, contact info, direct quotations from the websites and invitations for applications. All that would have to be removed, and even then your article would still face problems of a different sort. Wikipedia has notability guidelines, that is, the standard for inclusion on this site. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see many reliable, third-party sources talking about disability services in Bexar county. Anyway, I hope this helps you. Cheers, NoleloverTalk·Contribs 02:54, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Nolelover - thanks for your time and your comments. I appreciate the examples you gave - that kind of specificity is helpful but I will confess I don't really understand how giving neutral contact information can be construed as advertising. As for reliable sources, I have a reference list of the sources. As for reliable, third party in nature, whether one considers state agencies reliable, third parties probably is subject to opinion. I get that all the external links are discouraged. Those are easily eliminated. Given your comments, how can I put together an article on how to access supports and services for people with disabilities and their families that will pass Wikipedia editing. Thanks for your continued help Ahill1225 (talk) 03:21, 3 December 2011 (UTC) AHill1225
Well, this may not be what you want to hear, but its the easiest way of putting it. You ask "how can I put together an article on how to access supports and services" (emphasis mine). Its very simple. Wikipedia is not for how-to's. As long as you're thinking that you're trying to create an article about "how to" do something, it'll never fly. Note that if you want to write an article about disability services in Texas (Bexar county is probably too specific), I think that would be a much better goal. Now, the external links are not discouraged. Those are fine, although turning them into actual sources would be better. Also, the state agencies are reliable sources, but they aren't third-party. You're really writing an article about them (indirectly), so they would be considered primary sources. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 03:30, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

January would be a great, if somewhat arbitrary date....perhaps you could set up the rough format, just by copying and pasting from old dates to new ones? NoleloverTalk·Contribs 16:14, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Well, I only just resigned my post, so it would hardly be right for me to try to make any binding declarations to all our members. However, a mid-drive newsletter is something that could easily be set up and sent out with MessageDeliveryBot, especially if it were kept simple and based on the invite. And yes, I have been slacking, hehe. This certainly isn't a slow time of year, but I'll see what I can do:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 04:07, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi Nolelover! Please, consider to give your opinion on this nomination for the New Year's Day, and, if you can, check the nomination for the eleventh birthday of Wikipedia (it's just 1-2 noms below). Hi,Nolelover, please help me to make archives on my talk page,I have already made copy of your talk page and pasted on my talk page.Am I right to do so?.Thanks.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 12:08, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
I think I have not User page,can I again creat it.?.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 12:12, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
In regards to the user page, of course! Right now its just a redirect to your talk page, but if you want you can edit this page and replace the redirect with whatever you want. Now, the archive is a little trickier. Wikipedia has a bot that will archive your talk page if you want it too, by setting up a template and telling it how often you want it to archive your page. For example, you could tell it to archive all threads that are at least 25 days old, and make sure that it always leaves at least three threads. What I'll do is just archive manually to a subpage whenever I think its getting to big. That's what I'll do now (I'll put it here: User talk:Ehsan Sehgal/Archive 1), and if you want me to set up the bot I can do that later. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 15:07, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi,thanks for archiving my talk page,it's OK.I will try to edit my user page. What is going on to subject of the article and new comers,it seems to me he or they are very agressive kind of guys.Even my edit warning has also been deleted from the talk page of Babar Malik by 61.5.145.10 (talk).I am watching.I think behind in all IP adresses is only one person.??.I tried to save the article and was searching google to find reliable references, but they don't understand, I regret this kind of behaviour.Sorry.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 17:24, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm a little surprised too. Its a little odd how many have sprung out of nowhere, and I also wouldn't be surprised of they were the same person. However, my advice to you is the same that someone else just gave me a few minutes ago: there's no need to start editwarring. I've started a discussion on the talk page, and lets try to keep this aboveboard. I'd appreciate you chiming in there. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 17:30, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes, but there's another rule to remember. It's called WP:3RR, and it says that if you make more then three reverts to a page in one day, you can get blocked even if you're right. I've actually already passed that on Khan's page, and I wouldn't want you to get in trouble either. Lets just wait it out, and discuss it on the talk pages. I assume you have citizenship in both Pakistan and the Netherlands? If so, its worth saying so here. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 17:53, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Got it,but sorry I can not keep away myself from WP:Ownership and WP:Harassment by new comer editors, they must learn to polite and edit or create the articles with accordance to WP:Policies and guidelines,I can not be blackmail for my article.I have learnt this all from you. Thanks dear.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 20:29, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps I'm acting foolishly. I hope I'm not annoying editors who are much happier farming pagespace, but I've been watching AfDs for six years, and rarely seen such a frontloaded discussion, especially given the dearth of questions to the candidate, which I've had to drag out of editors. Nobody has argued with any responses to questions and in fact the first three (enormously influential) opposes have either indented or are at least more sympathetic with my positions. Two out of all my closes, one a clear button mis-hit and the other a judgement call with which some disagree? Nothing short of perfection will impress some editors and that says volumes about why the pedia has only promoted 48 of 80 candidates in 2011. This is the poorest promotion number since year one of the process. BusterD (talk) 02:54, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Well, I've been staring at this for a few minutes wondering how to respond, so forgive me if I start to ramble. First, I'll admit that I'm immediately biased against editors who express their own opinions (e.g. "I'll express a personal concern...") while closing and give the impression, rightly or wrongly, that their pre-held notions may have influenced the closing. I'm not a big fan of NAC to begin with, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MedicoLegal Investigations Ltd made it impossible for me to support at first. The second one (Lord's bank) didn't help, but upon reviewing it yesterday, I can't see any way to really hold it against you. Upon your RfA bouncing back and forth between open and closed, I looked at it again and decided that I was gonna switch to support and say "Screw it, I'm supporting this guy and everyone can take it or leave it." But...and I don't know why...I just can't. For some reason, and damn how I hate that I'm becoming one of those picky god-awful RfA voters you reference who oppose over one edit in 10,000, my gut just won't let me support. You're probably going to exit this RfA thinking you got screwed, and you're entirely justified in thinking that. However, I really wish you had let McBride close it, come back in 4 months and passed with WP:100. As it is, well, idk...you may have screwed yourself in the future with the whole pushing to keep this open thing. Yes, it was frontloaded. Yes, you didn't get a chance to really defend yourself in the Q&A section (I tried to think of applicable questions, but I already know the answers you would give for any faux AfDs). But there's a time to just let it go, keep your head down, work your butt off and try again later. For me, your edits aren't as important as how you edit. Making mistakes and learning from them with a grin is better then aiming for perfection with a scowl on your face. Instead of moving on, you've made yourself, purposely or not, a player in the People vs. RfA case, and that will work against you next time. There are plenty of people who will glad to oppose because "he couldn't be a fair loser last time", and stuff like that is the reason I'll never try to run that gauntlet. I really understand your frustration. I don't mind your ranting a bit here. I know how being judged unworthy of the mop can feel, since I lost one of my best friends that way. At the end of the day though, you've got to be able to keep going. If you do, I fully expect to see you standing up there one day. If not...well, I don't want to see Malleus2. As to your first (and probably rhetorical) question, 'exemplary' was just a tad too effusive. I hope this helps -- NoleloverTalk·Contribs 03:33, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
If my friends don't desert me, if I make a few new ones, if I stay true to myself, and if I put myself on the map as someone who thinks there must be some reason why nobody runs anymore, then I can't see why I will feel screwed. I have the utmost respect for all the thought you put into your response here; I appreciate your candor far more than I would appreciate your acquiescence. The more I discuss this with others, the more this all might seem like a bigger and bigger violation of WP:POINT, and that perception disturbs me. MONGO and I had an email discussion in which he recommended I stick it out for a short while; I was already thinking this the wise course. Maybe this process will continue to go against me. But it's never been about me; my run was motivated by something bigger than me, motivated by the same reason I log on and participate every day, motivated by the desire to be actively engaged in creating an encyclopedia. I don't need the mop to do that, so if this all means I'll never get one, so what. I'll be fine and unchanged. If this is how reasonable candidates are vetted, then this says way more about the pedia and its weaknesses than it does about any single candidate. BusterD (talk) 03:54, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Your response speaks volumes, and I'm glad to see it doesn't really run the way of "I'm a perfect example of a broken system etc." Hell, I'm glad to see that you don't even feel too screwed, and I hope that helps you in the long run. Yes, mistakes may have been made, and you've probably made a few perpetual enemies, but at least you know one of the main (if unspoken) rules of WP; just because you're entirely dedicated to building the encyclopedia to the best of your ability doesn't always mean you'll be given the proper tools for the job. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 04:12, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi; i'm just letting you know I have just deleted the page LOVES IT as WP:A1. This was a clear case for CSD, although you had only tagged it with PROD. Please take a moment to read WP:NPP, and if there is anything you are not sure of, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Happy patrolling! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:10, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Hmm...maybe it was just me, but I wouldn't think that was an A1. Could you tell what the article was about from the line that was there? easily. Anyway, thanks for the note:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 11:12, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Thea article was clearly A1. If you read up on WP:NPP, and then WP:CSD, you'll find from the descriptions there that the criteria are quite clearly defined. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:19, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Kudpung, I have far too much respect for you and your work to try to drag this argument out, but I could answer the question "what is the article about?" It may be wrong for my position to be that CSD should only be used where the criteria are very clearly met, but that's how I see it and I don't remember seeing A1 for this article. I'm not disagreeing with the article's deletion (I believe that exceptionally clear cases of WP:NFT should be the next CSD criteria), but that's my POV. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 11:29, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
I would be the first to argue that we need more CSD criteria, especially for new pages that don't fit the criteria we have but which must be summarily deleted. However, CSD is a WP:PEREN, we're lumbered with CSDing pages that only fit squarely into an existing criterion, and there's no chance of it happening any time soon so some articles will just have to slumber live on line for all to see at PROD for 7 days. However, you can be 100% sure that the page I deleted was A1 - I wouldn't risk my tools by doing anything rash;-) Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:07, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Heh, yes indeed...I was rather surprised to see you deleting that as A1, but TBH the first thought that crossed my mind was that I must have been using A1 wrong all this time. Anyway, I've got a request for you. As can be seen from the section above, I was talking to BusterD and saw your note on his talk page, saying that sometimes you review editors work in preparation for or in response to RfAs. Now I have little to no interest in the mop, but as an editors whose work I respect, would you mind looking over my contributions and telling me how I've done/what I could improve? This doesn't have to be framed as what's best for RfA, although I would be curious as to your thoughts on that. Regardless, thanks for the above explanation -- NoleloverTalk·Contribs 15:47, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
As your request is not directly made as a pre-RfA assessment, I think it would be a good idea if you were to call for an Editor review. Let me know when you've started the page, and I'll be happy to leave my comments on it. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 17:48, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
I had started one a few months back and it just sat there for a while. However, if you think its a good idea I'll start another in the next month or so and ask for your feedback. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 20:10, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
That review page is fine, there is no need to start another one. You may put the {{Editor review}} template or the {{Editor review sticker}} template on your user page to advertise the review page. I'm rather busy in real life now over the holiday period, so if I have not commented there within the next 2 weeks, please remind me on my talk page. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:24, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi,I need your help again,I have edited my user page, but cannot make layout, and some more contents want to add.As, LL.B (Bachelor of law)
and poet, writer, and journalist etc.Other thing more, in my talk page, please one item more should be archived,I mean, welcome message. Can you take a look at both pages.Thanks.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 00:23, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
I want to get change my name, how?.Direction is needed.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 00:30, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
Some boxes inserted, may be layout.? Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 01:58, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
You've made a lot of edits to your user page since you left this message, so I'm not sure if you still need anything. I archived the welcome message, and tell me if there's anything else in regards to your user page or talk page you want changed, and I'll get right on it. Now, to change your username you'll need to go to WP:CHU and follow the directions. (Note that under "Other things to consider:" it says "Using your real name as a username may put you at risk of harassment." Exactly what's happened with you. Do you have a username already in mind? If so, and its not already used, then you just go to Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple and do what it says. I can search the name to see if its already taken, if you need that. Anyway, you edit a template, and here's an example if you wanted to change your name to "Urdu Poet123".
{{subst:Renameuser|CURRENT=Ehsan Sehgal|NEW=Urdu Poet123|REASON=Ehsan Sehgal is my real name and I get harassed by IP's because of that.}} ~~~~
Then you'd add that to this and let the admins figure it out:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 15:55, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
A lot of thanks, archive is now Ok,and user page is also nearly about to finish. For changing name, would I lose my edits score?,or it will remain?.I am a bit hesitated, not sure, let me think,if yes then I prefer rename as Justice007, what do you think?.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 17:21, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
All your edits would be moved to the new account, and you would keep all of them. "Justice007" has not been taken, so if you want it you can go ahead. I think its great:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 17:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Done,but I think,some error,"This" went no any where,can you check it.?Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 19:45, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Should be fixed now. Sorry about the unclear directions. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 20:18, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
You cleaned-up,what,see nothing there,have to wait?.is rename accepted?.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 22:30, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I have no idea how long it will take, although I very much doubt it will be more then one or two days. You'll know because you'll receive messages on your talk page, and you won't be able to log in as "Ehsan Sehgal" anymore. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 01:21, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi,Nolelover, my talk and user pages are with new name Justice007,but I am logging with old mean real name, may it take one day more to completely activate.I can not check my watchlist, there is nothing,Ehsan sehgal is also existing,I think so.I wait for.Ehsan Sehgal (talk) 23:35, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi Nolelover! I'd like to express my appreciation for your vote for me during the 2012 GOCE coordinatorship election. During the next 12 months, I will be looking forward to your input on how I can perform my role, so please be brutally honest regarding my actions.
I had half a mind to strongly oppose you so that you could be fully dedicated to the WWF, but reason prevailed. :P Glad you made it, and I'm sure you'll do well. NLinpublic (talk) 18:11, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Ah well, I guess we can trust the closing admin to make the correct decision. Not much we can do, but thanks for the note. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 01:13, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
As per your your wonderful suggestion, I have made a sub-section titled 'Extracurricular activities' and shifted other things under it. The page, indeed, looks more organised now. Thanks:)

Thanks for the note, but I am watching the Doon School, so its fine to keep discussion there...that way spy can see too.:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 13:35, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
The Cleanup Barnstar
Thanks for your removal of cruft, etc. from Cody Martin! I had been trying to remove cruft a couple months ago, but I had hit a roadblock where I wasn't sure what warranted removal and what should have been kept. However, after you removed those things, I realized just how crufty they were (I'm weird like that). Anyway, thanks again! - Purplewowies (talk) 16:34, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
...and there's still a lot more! Speaking of that, how would you feel about a character merge? Maybe the main five or six into one list? There's just so much unsourced material in there...Regardless, thanks for the barnstar! It is much appreciated. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 16:59, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
About a merge, since you're the second person to suggest it to me (the first being here), I'd have to say I feel it's okay and probably even beneficial to merge them. I mean, I'm kinda partial to the characters having articles if at all possible (though that may just be my fangirl-ness of this show trying to butt in), but I had real trouble trying to find anything real-world about Cody, reception especially. And the group of character articles are mostly undersourced in terms of real world treatment, with London by far the most real world sourced of the group. Two questions:
What would happen to any creation or reception (i.e. real-world) sections? Would they exist after the merge? (I'm quite sure they would be unless they were unencyclopedic/unsourced, but I'd like to make sure.)
Would the characters be merged into a new article or an already existing one?
The logical thing would be to have a subsection discussing just that. So it would be ==London== then content, then ===Reception (or something)=== then content, then ==Next person==. That sound good?
Were it up to me I would probably create List of ... Characters, and merge the already created list of minor characters into it. Everyone wins, especially the people who only have to watch one article, instead of 15.;) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 21:18, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Works for me.:) I think your suggestion for where the articles would go is a good one. We should just merge all the characters into one character list. - Purplewowies (talk) 01:34, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Exactly. I'll try to work on that...soon...I hope. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 01:38, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Anybody (like, say, me) could perform such a merge, right? Or do we need more consensus? I'd be happy (though a bit nervous) to merge the articles myself if you don't have time. - Purplewowies (talk) 03:47, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Go right ahead! I would create a new article, copy each individual article there (and severely trim them), then add the list of minor characters and create redirects all around. Just make sure you correctly attribute the material in your edit summaries ("merging and redirect to [[]]", "merging material from [[]]", etc). NoleloverTalk·Contribs 13:55, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
After attempting to merge the articles around two hours ago, I think it would be best to seek more consensus, since the merge was reverted pretty quickly after being done. - Purplewowies (talk) 08:18, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Mmm....AL makes some good points. Maybe it would just be better to let well enough alone. =/ NoleloverTalk·Contribs 14:27, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Many thanks for your recent changes(introducing further reading was quite thoughtful) on the Doon School page. Also for saving it from being vandalised. Thanks:-)

S-equol, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as C-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you are more than welcome to continue submitting work to Articles for Creation.
The system thinks I submitted this because I added a "-->" and unhid this. Should have gone User:MEGComm. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 21:14, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi,I just wanted to ask you,I mean on your talk page, that,
" Hi,can you make external links shorter and proper so that I can use it in references to,relating article Tahir Naqvi. Those are all in Urdu, one is well reliable source from daily online newspaper,USA,London based.Thanks".Justice007 (talk) 14:02, 15 January 2012 (UTC) ,but I left message my own talk page instead yours.Isn't it stupidity of me!.Justice007 (talk) 21:46, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Hehe, it happens to all of us. :p Unfortunately, I could find no way to shorten the links. I guess it's because the URL has urdu characters in it, and therefore has to use a special code. Just go ahead and use those long links...nothing we can do, as far as I can see. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 01:10, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
The changes in the article in question is not an act of vandalism. It is about getting the facts right. I have also provided information which was not included in the article in question, North Coast Cartel.
P.S. When I was 14, a member of said cartel, in a drunken rage, pointed a gun at me as I exited a nightclub because he fancied my girlfriend - back then they allowed people who were underage into nightclubs. If there is anyone who wants knowledge spread about this nefarious cartel, it's me. But I would very much appreciate it if it were done in an accurate manner.
Thank You Very Much,
Have a Nice Day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.127.214 (talk) 18:12, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
My apologies for labeling your edits vandalism. You are right; I was wrong to do so. However, you need to know that you can't just revert everyone, even if you are right. Then, regardless of the content, your editing becomes disruptive. Simply reverting and edit-warring with three or four editors will never be productive - your best bet is to go to the article's talk page and explain your situation. I'm rather busy IRL atm, but if you wish, I can help you in a day or two. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 15:50, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for cleaning up the article. But I strongly feel that 'Historic links' and 'Exchanges should be out of Affiliations'. That is because it gives out the wrong idea. *pounds head* WP:Beans Nole, why didn't you remember beans!
Well, I see two immediate concerns: Troy Polamalu's hair doesn't have an article, so why should his neck? Troy's hair clearly has more lasting notability... b) Would that article have to follow BLP, or should WP:Biographies of living parts of people become a blue link? Those aside, as I stated at the AfD, we have the sourcing to make it past GA. :D NoleloverTalk·Contribs 20:58, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi, i've heard you've had some issues with my recent page "feathering the scope". I have created that page as i have many requests to make a page on it and i think it is a page that people (some) will find useful and helpful so please, please could you withdraw your issues so the page can continue to help people who want to know about "feathering the scope" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Probeast645 (talk • contribs) 15:05, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi there Probeast, and welcome to Wikipedia. First, I want to thanks you for your submission. You've obviously put some work into you article, so I'll try to answer this the best I can. Now, take two minutes and read this page. It's short.:) Then tell me, does "feathering the scope" have multiple reliable, independent sources discussing it? If so, then please add those to the article. If not, then it will be deleted. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 15:12, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi Nolelover,
first let me thank you, for your deeply commitment agains missuse of Wikipedia.
There are lot of open source initiative with same deep commitment as you did. One is "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dotproject", another is "Project'Or RIA". Dotproject is dealing with the same topic as Project'Or RIA communtiy, but with another approach.
It is very interessting, that dotprojects contribution is approved and my contribution is deleted. I set up my contribution page with nearly the same content as dotproject (and we know, dotproject is approved). And now you delete my contribution "Project'Or RIA". I'm sure you see, from an external perspective, it looks there are double standards applied.
To clarify my person. I have no commercial interest in this open souce product. I'm a convinced user of this product and contribute a lot of my privat lifetime to this project community.
I can't see any reason, why my contribution is deleted. And if there is a reason to delete, than you have to apply this to all contributions which dealing in the same field.
Thanks for your kind support.
cleverchild. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.122.80.37 (talk) 08:33, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi there 62. First of all, each article is judged on its own merits, so dotProject makes absolutely no difference to whether or not your article will be kept. However, you might be interested in knowing that I have nominated dotProject for deletion as well. Regardless, there was a very good reason why your article was deleted: read WP:42 (it's short), and tell me if Project'Or passes that "test". Yes, I should apply this standard to all contributions in the field. However, I'm a volunteer, and I don't have to spend all my time looking for non-notable software, and no one else has to either. Hello,
Thank you for your feedback on our suggested "Rough Diamond" wikipedia page. We understand a wikipedia page for "Diamonds" already exists but the information for rough diamonds on that page is limited to its history tied to De Beers and and what happens to rough diamonds as they undergo the cutting and polishing process. There is a history and use of rough diamonds that is separate and different enough from the history and use of cut/polished diamonds to warrant a separate page. The top wikipedia search result for "Rough Diamonds" (plural) currently stands as a rock album, which we believe is incomplete information.
A wikipedia page for "Rough Diamond" (singular) consists of a one line description. We would merely like to build a more robust description and explanation of rough diamonds so that the public can better understand how it is different from a cut/polished diamond.
Thanks for your consideration and let us know if you have any further questions.
Mjshampine (talk) 18:05, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi there Mjshampine, and thank you for your work and submission. I think you're mixing up the pages Diamond and Diamond (gemstone). The Diamond page should be about the rough stone (while Diamond (gemstone) should be about the cut product), so you should feel free to add your material there. Hi,
I am trying to create a new article named "Kidwai Nagar East", but I am new here and pretty much unaware how to submit it successfully without any errors.
As I tried to Submit and re-submit my article, but always get a message that speaks about some issues to be fixed before it get accepted and I can't figure it out how to do it correctly.
Please Help
Arvind.southdelhi (talk) 14:01, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi there Arvind. I declined your submission because all articles that pass through the Articles for Creation process must have at least one reliable source. I know this sounds goofy, but do have a reference for that location? Has it been written about in newspapers, magazines, online articles (not blogs), etc? NoleloverTalk·Contribs 14:04, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
No, I do not know how to use the word count tool, so I guess I don't know how to make a PB&J sandwich either:-). I do know how to use the word count function on Word and Open Office. I've used both programs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please be patient with me as I am technically a senior citizen. hahahaha Quill and Pen (talk) 22:34, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Hehe, no problem. I'm glad to see you decided to help out with copyediting (and Wikipedia in general), and I probably should have guessed your age from your username.;-) Anyway, since you have imported the tool, it should already be working for you. Now, whenever you open up an article, the button (page size) will be in the collapsed "Toolbox" menu on your left. In this image, it would appear in the extreme bottom left, right under "Special pages". You'll know when you've clicked the right button, because more of the text will be highlighted and some "Document statistics" will appear at the top. To remove that, click the "page size" button again. If the button is not there at all, then we'll need to re-import the script. Tell me if you've got it.:) NoleloverTalk·Contribs 22:54, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

I agree that they were probably uploaded with a somewhat promotional reasoning, but they really don't break any rules that I know of, so I don't think there's really any reason to remove them. However, I will trim the captions. NoleloverTalk·Contribs 20:09, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
