Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Melodic Expressions: The Art of the Line, from its old location at User:009o9/Melodic Expressions (iBook). This is because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. North America1000 02:06, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

User:009o9/Craig Schwartz (Photographer), a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:009o9/Craig Schwartz (Photographer) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:009o9/Craig Schwartz (Photographer) during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Hello, 009o9, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in an English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with French; did you know there is a French Wikipedia? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! If you need help, please feel free to notify me on my talk page. tamil 14:40, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Thank you so much, man! I'm a newbie, so I really don't know all of the tricks yet. I have made a few edits though. Just check out these pages:
After checking those pages out, tell me what you think, man. I added three songs to the list of singles under the discography table on Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman. I also added an "Unreleased songs" table to Avicii discography and Zedd discography. If you want, you can probably make the background grey, and the letters bold for the unreleased songs on Avicii discography and Zedd discography. I'm just sayin', if you want... Thank you again for the edit on Lindsey Stirling's discography page. I really do appreciate your help.

Wanted to let you know that one of the videos on the Jennifer Cook O'Toole page isn't mine at all -- I believe there were a few I suggested in another note. If it's possible to use them, I think MANY more folks would benefit.
Re: Sesame. Anne-Louise Richards, a girl I mentor (I can link you to an article about that!) drew it on commission for me. Here's the link to that piece: https://www.joomag.com/magazine/zoom-autism-magazine-issue-3-spring-2015/0212842001427167663
If there's a way to privately message, I'll happily give you my email to make this process easier!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by GingerJenny (talk • contribs) 16:14, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give War of Resistance (film) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:21, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
Hello! 009o9,
I noticed your article was declined at Articles for Creation, and that can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! RadioFan (talk) 13:37, 6 March 2016 (UTC) |
Thanks again for your help with The Bank of New York Mellon article. I appreciate you making those edits even though our thoughts on who should make them differ. There's actually one last item to be done, if it isn't too much. I responded on the Talk page here and wanted to make sure saw it. I totally understand if you're not interested though. Thanks! Wik-Ed Women Session #5 | |
---|---|
Dear fellow Wikipedian, I would like to personally invite you to the March edition of the Wik-Ed Women meetup, which will take place on March 15, from 6-10 in the evening. It will occur at Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, 2245 E Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90021 (downtown LA -- map). The building has a pink top with old signage for American Accessories, Inc. dba Princess Accessories (Photos [PDF]). There is on-site parking in the back, which also has an entrance. If you cannot attend in person, you are more than willing to work remotely, as we appreciate all help that you can provide. Finally, here is a link to the Facebook event, in case you want to invite friends, as we are always looking for new editors to help expand coverage of women on Wikipedia! I hope to see you there! You wrote, " It was User:Richhoncho who took a very narrow definition of the word "record" in this discussion. He was reading "record" in the context of a vinyl LP is slang (record album)." I have to say I still say a song is a song and the method of delivery is not the song. If you can't understand that very basic concept... --Richhoncho (talk) 11:20, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited H-1B visa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Department of Justice. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:31, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
