The team was formed at WWE's Night of Champions PPV in July, when Jericho chose Big Show as his injured partner, Edge's replacement for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.[4] The team became known as Jeri-Show and held the titles for 140 days,[5][6] until they lost the titles to D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) at TLC PPV in December.[7] Following the title loss, Jeri-Show earned the 2009 Slammy Award for the Tag Team of the Year,[8] and earned their rematch for the titles on January 4, 2010 edition of Raw, but lost, causing Jeri-Show to breakup, due to Jericho's status as a SmackDown Superstar.[9]
