The UNESCO Creative Cities are a network of 116 cities from 54 different countries which use their strengths in particular cultural or creative industries to encourage local development and international cooperation. The cities fall into seven distinct creative fields: crafts and folk art, design, film, gastronomy, literature, media arts and music.
