Maria Calzada Pérez holds a BA in Translation Studies from the Universidad de Granada, an MA in the Theory and Practice of Literary Translation an a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, where she was supervised by Prof. Ian Mason. She is author of books such as La aventura de la traducción , El espejo Traductológico , and Transitivity in Translating ; she has edited books such as Apropos of Ideology , Exploring New Paths in Language Pedagogy (with Fernando Serrano and Maria Moreno Jaén) and Text and Context (with Mona_Baker and Maeve Olohan); and she has translated books such as El lenguaje en Psiquiatría (by Jonathan Fine). She currently teaches at the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón Spain), where she leads the bilingual Universitat Jaume I - E-translating project (PROJECT IN ENGLISH WIKIPEDIA) [Aprendices de la Wikipedia ] (PROJECT IN SPANISH WIKIPEDIA)
