Hi there. I'm a new wikipedian but I love it so far. I'm a sociologist by profession with interests and knowledge in sociology, psychology, spirituality/religion, music, and some other things.
I'm currently working my way through the sociology stubs (there's lots of them) and cleaning them up. I'm finding that about 20% of them are actually not stubs at all. That is, somebody has expanded them but forgot to remove the stub line.
I'm also finding about 5% of them are not sociology terms at all (e.g., the now deleted Brown nose article). I think people are using the socio-stub as a catch all to capture anything that remotely smells of being "social".
Oh well.
