Tewy (pronounced Teh-wee) is the name given to the Wikipediauser who joined the project in mid-2006. If you have any questions or comments, you are more than welcome to leave a note on his talk page. He will usually respond as soon as he receives the message, assuming he's not busy in real life.
For general help with using Wikipedia, see the help desk, or feel free to browse Wikipedia's contents if you're just looking around.
Under the "Date and time" tab in Special:Preferences, you may specify the format in which you view dates. This applies primarily to dates on your watchlist and other lists of changes.
It also affects dates in Wikipedia articles and other pages, but only if the day, month and year are wikified (e.g. [[May 14]], [[2007]]). Current recommended editing style is not to wikify dates for this purpose—most years and dates appearing in articles should not be wikilinked, and their format will therefore not be customized.
My day on Wikipedia begins with checking my watchlist. I review each change, add necessary comments, and revert any vandalism I come across. Occasionally I will click links to random pages and clean up articles that don't meet Wikipedia's standards, but the majority of my time is spent voting. And I don't mean for politics. My favorite spots are Featured picture candidates and Motto of the day. Here is a summary of the ideas I have suggested for others to vote on.
