College basketball team From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bowling Green Falcons women's basketball team team is the women's basketball team that represent Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament in 2006. The Falcons became the first team from the MAC to reach the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament Sweet Sixteen, after they upset the second seed Vanderbilt 60-59 at the Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing, Michigan in 2007. The team is currently coached by Curt Miller who is in his eighth season with Bowling Green. Bowling Green has won the most MAC Championships, winning nine tournament championships since their admission into the MAC in 1981.
