- I'm a writer, creator, artist, dreamer, gamer, fangirl, weirdo, dork, geek, autodidact, animal lover, technophile, bibliophile, knowledge junkie, human, Earthling, logophile, genealogy addict
- I'm a spelling and grammar geek. I don't even subscribe to my local newspaper anymore because atrocious spelling and horrifying grammar were driving me up the wall. I used to find spelling/grammar errors on Wiki pages and tell myself, "Someday I'll go in and fix that..." Occasionally, I'd fix them anonymously; then one day I decided to sign up for an account, and I've been fixing those errors when I find them rather than putting them off.
- I'm a total introvert (usually 97-99% when I do a personality test) and an INFP.
- I'm a bleeding heart liberal, left-libertarian.
- I'm an animal lover and am owned by an AmStaff/American Bulldog mix and a Boxer/Jack Russell/AmStaff mix, both rescues. I previously had three Boxers and an ornery Siamese cat, who was "technically" a Thai cat, or Classic Siamese (round or applehead rather than the alien-looking modern Siamese). Looking forward to sharing my life with another someday, but we have a dog who can't live with cats:(
- I'm interested in weird, odd, bizarre, strange things. The paranormal, the supernatural, the unknown, Forteana - I love it all!
- I'm fascinated with true crime and serial killers...mostly just want to know what makes them tick!
- I'm a podcast addict, but I really only listen to true crime, paranormal, and conspiracy theory podcasts.
- I love music and often use it to express my feelings – Tool (Maynard is a GOD), Nine Inch Nails (Reznor is also a GOD), Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Shinedown, 30 Seconds to Mars, and so many more. I also have a soft spot for 80′s rock, and when the mood strikes, old school punk. Also totally love Delta blues!
- I'm an atheist with agnostic tendencies - or an agnostic with atheist tendencies...depends on my mood;) That doesn't necessarily mean I'm anti-religion; I don't begrudge anyone their beliefs as long as they don't shove them down my throat. I have actively studied a lot of religious and spiritual topics, so I'm not an ignorant non-believer.
- I love, love, LOVE modern technology. I always wished I could have been born in an earlier era but with today's technology. I think we live in exciting times, dancing on the edge of technological advancement, and I can't wait to see what's next on the horizon. I WANT A BIONIC EYE!
- I am a lifelong die-hard Yankees fan. And I’m from New England. Reconcile that. It’s not easy being a Yankees fan in Massachusetts. I am not a fairweather fan. I simply love the best team in baseball:P
