Greetings all, I'm Pop Culture Super Hero, but you can call me "Pop" or PCSH for short! I am a long time Wikipedia lurker. I've been editing articles anonymously since 2007. I've recently found myself with too much time on my hands, so I decided to start becoming a legitimate Wikipedia editor. I've been doing MMA for a while now, and I've yet to make it to the big time. Approaching my mid-30's I will likely need to get a real job within the next 4 years or so. I have no qualifications, and not sure what I want to do, so maybe creating various Wiki and filling my head with knowledge will help me formulate that path.

Currently I've taken an interest in Social Media Celebrities, as I am amazed at how much money these stars are making, and how quickly the space has blown up. 4 years ago YouTube and Instagram celebrities had to hold part-time jobs to supplement their income, and now they are making millions a year. Such a boom intrigues me greatly. I've noticed that here on Wiki there is not a large project, or category to focus on the business side of social media, especially the "Influencer Marketing" realm. So that is my goal, to create and maintain such a project.
I hope to meet great people here on Wiki that can help me build projects, and become productive with my time! If you'd like me to join or help you build any of your pages, or join any projects then please message me! I'm willing to hop on anything that DOES NOT involve MMA! (as I would have a clear conflict of interest...and honestly...when I'm not at practice, I don't want to even hear the word Martial Arts...its exhausting!)

I'm looking to create a large sub-category of marketing, that concentrates on the fast growing Influencer Marketing feild Included in this project will be all Social Media Celebrities. But not the social media platforms themsselves.
There are currently 367 YouTube Celebrities w/ wikipedia pages. As Social Media stars are gaining more notoriety as the days go by I think it is very important that there be strict guidelines for notability. I would like to team with others to develop and maintain these guidelines, so that not every average joe can make a wikipedia article to promote their channel.
What I consider to be notable: Stats from a reputable source. SocialBlade and SocialBook are what I currently use.
I believe the most important statistics to decide if a Social Media Star is notable are:
Average Views per 24hrs Subscriber Growth per year (not total number of scribers) Revenue from their social media channel. (If they are making millions then they are probably notable)
I also consider media coverage, especially "controversy" has a qualifier for notability. If news publications are covering a Social Media Stars blunders, then I have to inmagine that users will be visiting Wikipedia for more information.
*All Channels are 100% done, and awaiting review.
Hey, I would love all the help I can get! Like I said, I have a lot of time to kill between practices, and would love to start a new WikiProject

The most amazing fact in the world to me is that is took one year and 23 days to begin and finish construction of The Empire State Building. Think about that for a moment! No computers, no high tech equipment, and no bullshit. Just blue collar workers w/ nails and hammers! Now that is fucking lit!
