User:Paine Ellsworth/Geeeraffe/doc
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a documentation subpage for User:Paine Ellsworth/Geeeraffe. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original user template page. |
There are two things you can do with this page:
- You can put this page on any of your User pages, including your Talk page. Just copy/paste the following code to your page(s)...
{{User:Paine Ellsworth/Geeeraffe}}
- That will put my Geeeraffe at the lower left of your page(s) just like it is on my pages. You might note that I installed this template near the TOP of my Talk page (for obvious reasons). Still works.
- If you want to explore the code, use a different image or position the image differently, then copy/paste the following code to your own User subpage...
<div style="position: fixed; left:0; bottom:0; display:block; height:130px; width:188px;">
[[File:Giraffa camelopardalis angolensis (head).jpg|120px|link={{{1}}}]]</div>
<noinclude>{{documentation}}</noinclude>
- Then you can use a different image, or if you'd like the image on the right-bottom, like it is in the {{Recycle User}} template below, just replace "left" with "right", as in "
right:0;
". - The "
120px
" is the size of the image as you want it to appear, and the "link={{{1}}}
" is there in case you want the image to link to another page...
{{User:(YOUR USER PAGE)/(YOUR SUBPAGE)|Giraffe}}
- Anyone who clicks (YOUR SUBPAGE) image would then go to the Wikipedia article on giraffes.
- If you don't use the "link=", that's okay, because then when someone clicks (YOUR SUBPAGE) image, they will just go to the giraffe image file. You can disable that link, by the way, with a pipe and a space after "(YOUR SUBPAGE)"...
{{User:Paine Ellsworth/Geeeraffe| }}
- Then the image won't link to anything. Have a good time with this, and I wish the best of everything to you and yours!
Disclaimer
The code for this "template" was shamelessly taken from another user's page. That user is listed elsewhere on this page (just above, actually) as "Alainr345".
