Hi there! Welcome to user page of Lord Opeth. About me...I am interested in stuff related to History, Politics, International relations and other countries' cultures. I enjoy travelling and hanging out with my friends. I am far far away from being a professional photographer, but I like Photography, especially landscapes and experimental/gothic stuff. Lord Opeth & Wikipedia...Works of fiction and fictional elements (especially fictional characters) are my primary interests in Wikipedia. I patrol many pages reverting vandalism and working with categories. I am a mergist. I believe that there are lots of fictional elements that are not notable enough to have their own articles. However, I always prefer the alternative of merging over deleting. Etymology...In case you wonder what Opeth means, it is the name of one of my favorite bands, one of the best progressive metal acts. They are from Stockholm, Sweden. According to the band's page here at Wikipedia, the name Opeth was taken from an ancient empire named Opet, which translates to "City of the Moon", from Wilbur Smith's novel "The Sunbird". |
