Master of Puppets was Burton's final appearance on a Metallica record, due to an auto accident, which caused his death while on tour in Sweden to promote the record. "Orion" is often thought of as one of Burton's finest compositions. The song was not played live until twenty years after its release, with Metallica's now current bassist, Robert Trujillo, playing bass.
