The Tripolitanian Republic (Arabic: الجمهورية الطرابلسية, al-Jumhuriyat at-Trabulsiya), was a short-lived Arab republic that declared the independence of Tripolitania from Italian Tripolitania after World War I. It didn't succeed in setting up a republic and Italian rule was restored in 1922.
