Usage
This template is a tracking template for Wikipedia:WikiProject on open proxies/Requests.
The template takes only one parameter, which is optional. Details are given below.

When a parameter is placed as shown above, it will display the following:
More information Parameter, Returns ...
Parameter | Returns |
---|---|
none or open | A user has requested a proxy check. A proxy checker will shortly look into the case. |
hold | – A proxy checker has placed this case on hold pending further information or developments. |
moreinfo | – A user has requested a proxy check, but a proxy checker needs more information before making an decision whether or not to investigate. |
inprogress | – A proxy checker is in the process of investigating whether the reported IP(s) is an open proxy. |
relist or 2O | – A proxy checker has requested a second opinion on this case. |
close or closed | – This proxy check request is closed and will soon be archived by a bot. |
closeme or toclose | – This request has been addressed by a user who is not a verified proxy checker. It is awaiting review and closure by a verified proxy checker. |
admin or administrator | – A proxy checker has requested administrator assistance for action regarding the case below. The requested action is below. |
CU or checkuser | – A proxy checker has requested CheckUser assistance. |
cudecline or cudeclined | – A CheckUser has declined a request for CheckUser, and the case is now awaiting a proxy checker to investigate. |
