Your recent e-mail has been passed to this office for attention.
The Bureau has reviewed your draft text and finds it helpful and clearly and
logically set out. We are grateful for your expressions of interest and
support.
We attach our current chart of government structure and the State
Specification for our national flag should you find them of interest;
details of our social and economic activities since the mid-90's are on file
with the Statistics Division of the United Nations in New York.
We would suggest replacement of the final paragraph of text [located
immediately prior to the 'legal opinions regarding Sealand' section] by the
following:
"One of the more prominent industries located within the Principality is
Havenco Limited, an internet-based company which was founded by American
entrepreneurs some four years ago and which has leased on a permanent basis
land for its corporate offices. One of the co-founders, Ryan Lackey, has
with various colleagues built the company into what is now a responsible
competitive and successful international component of internet services
offered globally. The company, which offers secure hosting of servers
offering services requiring absolute security, is subject to Principality
Law which prohibits absolutely any activities connected in any way with
criminal terrorist or other similar activities, but which upholds the right
of free expression."
The Bureau hereby grants use of the images set out in your correspondence;
we should be pleased to assign to your publisher a copyright licence should
you wish it and would be pleased to receive a request therefor by post to
the address below.
Finally, should your publication appear in hard copy, we should like one of
these for deposit in our state archives.
Again, many thanks for a job well-done.

On a further note subsequent to our recent e-mail regarding the Sealand
entry, please note that in the first introductory sentence, the Principality
is not a 'micronation' but rather a 'microstate'.
You may know of the abuse of the 'nation' concept by many who interpret the
definition precisely as 'a group of individuals with a common interest' and
have created virtual 'nations' on the internet as well as in other places.
We as a State have no part in such virtual activities; the Principality and
its residents is hardly a virtual reality but rather something that exists
in bricks, mortar, and over 35 years of hard labour and its accompanying
sweat and tears.
Many thanks again.
