Removed: "Another benefit is that square pixels may be used to record the full 1280x720 frame with rescaling, in contrast to Sony's 1080 HDV solution which employs an acquisition frame of only 1440x1080 (where the pixels have a wide aspect ratio to full the entire 1920x1080 frame)."

-- Sony's HDCAM uses the same sampling resolution (1440x1080) as HDV1080. So in a real production-environment, no one is going to criticize HDV for its non-square pixels.
