Talk:World Boxing Union
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article was written when I noticed WBU was incorrectly redirecting to World Boxing Association, a seperate body. I intend to add some detail eventually- history, etc, when verifiable information (as opposed to promoter hype, etc) can be posted. While they are lightly regarded, they do exist and are gaining recognition.
This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the World Boxing Union article. This is not a forum for general discussion of the article's subject. |

- The article asserts the non-notability of the group by saying that it is "lightly regarded" and its champions "often lack widespread recognition". This is why I put a speedy deletion tag on it. -- Merope 14:46, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
It says both: "The WBU was founded in January 2005" and "The WBU had a 'golden' period between 1996-2006". They can't both be true! Manormadman (talk) 21:56, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
