man this article needs updating sosooooo bad. It's practially a stub. It doesn't even mention Toshio Maeda in the definition! And it needs a DVD section talking about the new scenes and the cut scenes in the perfect collection and the subsequent DVDs. It needs character descriptions, screenshots, analysis, there's alot of potential for this article. —This unsigned comment was added by Fegor (talk • contribs) .
And it has some major NPOV issues. Anyone care to deal with it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.63.0.36 (talk • contribs) .
There's a song by Testament that seems to be named after this, and instrumental off of their album Low. Might be worth mentioning.--72.138.133.124 02:12, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
I doubt few people would want to admit to seeing Urotsukidoji... (JackorKnave) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.196.130 (talk) 00:42, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
I like that part:
"Fame and fortune soon came his way after Urotsukidōji was published. His work was picked up by Central Park Media and West Cape Corporations and they adapted Urotsukidōji from page to the big screen. The film of Urotsukidōji, and its later sequels, became immediately infamous, not just in Japan, but in the rest of the world as well."
Sure, a Western company that didn't even exist back then adapted the manga into an animated movie... "OVAs? What's that? Japanese companies? I really don't know what you're talking about!" Heh. 14:50, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Would the guy who is reverting the titles of the OVAs to pseudo-japanese stop it. These are the correct romanisations of the titles:
"He was commissioned to do the series for Wani Magazine, a seinen manga magazine that deals mostly with avant garde stories."
This is wrong: there is no, and there has never been, any magazine called Wani Magazine. There is a company called Wani Magazine, though, but despite the name of the company, there is no magazine with that name. Thus, the statement is wrong. Besides, I think Wani Magazine only publishes pornographic comics (成年漫画, seinen manga) whereas the word "seinen" usually refers to comics for young men (青年漫画, seinen manga) in English, so the sentence may have more errors. Ah, found correct information on Japanese Wikipedia. Will update. (Stefan2 (talk) 15:11, 21 August 2011 (UTC))
