I would like to see a break down of how the offense actually worked. I read an article in the Detroit News about how much better Roy Williams thinks Martz's offense is than the west coast offense, but I don't know how Martz's offense actually works. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hinklin (talk • contribs) 17:08:10, August 19, 2007 (UTC).
There is too much background for Marshall Faulk on this listing. This information is far too exhaustive. Why is there information about Faulk's days with the Colts? This information should be pared down to include Faulk's 1999-2001 seasons, since that is what this post is about. Also did he really "obliterate" Barry's record? Barry had 2358 total yards. The total listedon this page accounts for only his rushing yards.
Additionally, why is there no other information about the statistics or league rankings of any of the other Rams players? (Hakim? Bruce? Holt?) Also, something has to be added about Kurt Warner, one of the great stories in NFL history. Where is this entry?
If you can't read where I put I'll do the other's stats and stories later, I was busy with other things. And another thing Faulk was the anchor of this offense, without him no superbowl, no greatest show on turf, and the cinderella story would never have happened.
Sorry, life's just been stressful lately with the mid-quarter of my school coming up, thanks for understanding my rudeness.
In the section about Kurt Warner it says "to be continued..." and stops right before the Super Bowl against the Titans. I don't personally know much about the Rams so would someone "continue" that section pinky 23:48, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
IMO there should be a section for him, without him protecting Kurt's blindside the offense would've fallen flat on his face. If I get some time I could probably write it up. 75.21.76.108 00:03, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
There seems to be a lot of stuff about the 1999 season in the section on Kurt Warner. Shouldn't that be moved up to the opening section? SuperToad64 17:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
One thing that is missing from this page is a conclusion. What happened after 2001 that caused the end of The reign of the Greatest Show on Turf? Did key players leave, get injured, coaching changes, great defenses finally figured them out, what? There is no conclusion.
yah, da beef about the article not detailing what constituted the end of the greatest show on turf is an omission, as some dude before me remarked and stuff. so address that.
additionally, i don't see anywhere in the article where it mentions the inspiration for the nickname. people unfamiliar with p.t. barnum and the ringling bros. and all dat might not know that 'the greatest show on turf' is word play, like many many modern sports nicknames, especially ones that are coined on sportscenter, which may or may not be the source of this nickname.
anyway, none of that information is present. add it, wiccapedians. danke --69.124.205.76 (talk) 12:18, 18 May 2008 (UTC) tilde tilde tilde tilde
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is not an an organized event --108.44.40.149 (talk) 08:37, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
I had no idea what to list it under for speedy deletion. It does fail notability in sport and didn't see one that fit there. 66.87.72.164 (talk) 13:07, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
Shouldn't Dick Vermeil be referenced in this article? Beyond being the head coach of the team in question, he also successfully implemented a similar offense with another team after leaving the Rams.
