The German article says that these were rehung in 1945 not in the original positions.
And although there was restoration work in 1927 and 1945, I doubt that iron would have survived 500 years hanging outside a German church. Perhaps there is more to that we should research?

- Were they of iron or steel?
- Were they in or on the tower in 1842?
- How about 1893? Was the tower demolished in 1881 and a new one built? (P 146)
