Claims

I've removed a fair chunk of this article as the book has only just been published and we do not generally make factual statements about BLPs (or in this case, dead people) about their personal lives that aren't actually verified by multiple sources - meaning more than just the person who is making the claim. It's also been removed from Whitney Houston based on this which I imagine we will need to have a discussion about. I'm also not aware of any sources prior to this book being released discussing it but given the level of attention the book has received in the last two days, it may just be lost in the mix. Also pinging @SNUGGUMS: and @Flyer22 Reborn: as I'm pretty much just speaking gibberish right now thanks to being hangry. Perhaps you have some thoughts on this? Or feel free to revert me. My thought process was basically that this article was presenting something as fact that afaict is not verified by multiple sources, as we would generally require but that's due to the fact that Whitney Houston is dead. And all the actual RS discussing this are only citing her book so it seems a bit circular.Praxidicae (talk) 20:28, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

My concern is more the wording. This is a difficult case from a WP perspective because claims like this don't usually get traction to this extent when one person is dead and with no prior mention of any of it. Praxidicae (talk) 20:42, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

Per what I stated here, I agree that this claim shouldn't be presented as fact. Per WP:WIKIVOICE, it obviously shouldn't be. Per WP:Due, there shouldn't be a lot included on it either, especially in Houston's article.
