The mevalonate pathway is more commonly used and accepted than HMG-CoA reductase pathway. So, I think, the mevalonate kinase a better one as the article title.

I believe you have to many carbons in 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl CoA, the carbon attached to the carbonyl at position 5 needs to be a OH/O- group.
Uclasci1616 added some content followed by a number of references, but there is no referencing to them. I've moved them here for... well... reference.

On the step with mevalonate 5 PP decarboxylase, there is a loss of OH group. Is it just me? Please explain XXGuyWithAnAxeXx (talk) 14:58, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
The first reference (Buhaescu I, Izzedine H (2007) Mevalonate pathway: a review of clinical and therapeutical implications. ClinBiochem 40:575–584.) doesn't say anything about distribution of the pathway among eukaryotes, Archaea and bacteria and thus should be replaced. HlTo CZ (talk) 15:47, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
