I'm tempted to add a "Lack of Context" tag to this article. I think an introductory paragraph needs to be added to explain what this list is all about, as it is not immediately obvious. 23skidoo 03:21, 2 September 2005 (UTC)
Editor Otto4711 has yesterday added the {{unsourced}} tag. I didn't create this list in the first place, but I have edited it. I think that the demand for sourcing is unreasonable. The only way in which the list as a whole could be sourced is if it was based on a similar published list. It isn't that, because it's based on wikipedia content, like a disambiguation page. Nobody demands sourcing for disambiguation pages, because they are simply lists of links within wikipedia. Structurally this is very similar. For each individual entry the appropriate sourcing is the statement within the article giving the origin of the book name, and mostly this is indeed present. If Otto4711 thinks the the whole list should be deleted, he should propose that explicitly (though I'd vote against), but asking for sourcing is asking the impossible. SamuelTheGhost (talk)
It's too English-world centered--83.60.60.8 (talk) 11:26, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
We already have one for Shakespeare and I think Bible quotation titles are probably up there in frequency with Shakespeare quotation titles. StrexcorpEmployee (talk) 14:03, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
