Are Japanese names traditionally listed Last-Name-First in print? In English when you print Last-Name-First it is customary to put a comma in between to make it clear. (Lastname, Firstname). Or am I missing some cross cultural thing about Japanese naming? I'm fairly certain that the friendly (first) names used in the English version are the second ones listed here.
I was just going through these articles and looking for character pictures to add, and I was wondering if Tasuku is shown at any point over the course of the anime. Blademaster313 00:00, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
In accordance with Litefantastic's suggestions on the discussion page for the main article, I added pictures for Ninamori and Canti. I also changed the picture of Mamimi, and if anyone liked the other better, feel free to change it. I am also the one who added the pictures of Atomsk, Naota, Amarao, and Miyaji a long time ago. Blademaster313 00:29, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I removed the black lines from the sides of Haruko's picture. Blademaster313 21:23, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I can't find it addressed anywhere (they're not the easiest Google search terms to work with), but is Haruko's style a reference to the British Mod style? And if it is, should it be mentioned? --Agivith 21:08, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
I can't tell: it looks like Haruko can fly on her own (watch FLCLimax) - can she? -Litefantastic 22:22, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
I was reading through the bios and this caught my eye in Junko's bio: "...such as the destruction of her car(which happens every two episodes of the series) or the terrible..." And: "...like adults at all. Her car is smashed every three episodes."
I dont quite remember myself(I only recall the first time it happened) how many times it happened, so which statment is true? Hitmaker 23:33, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
I think there should be some changes to some characters. Such as Kitsurubami's. I think the opinion "Attractive" should be tooken out. Attractive is an opinion, and not a fact. It's not bothering me, it just has to be backed up with facts. Also, Canti is refered to as "he" in this article. Robots do not have a gender and in the show, Canti is mostly refered to as "it". I realy don't care if these are changed or not, it just doesn't seem encyclopedic or profesional. Aaron Pepin
Is there any known facts about Kitsurubami's English voice actor L. Villa? Is her first name even known? I've been searching online and found absoultely nothing! Can you find absolutely any facts? I guess they found some random person off th streets to do that role, I don't know. Aaron Pepin
I could have sworn Mona Marshall did Naota's voice.--Cojin 04:02, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
In his bio, it claims that the symbol appearing on Canti's monitor a couple times is a corruption of 大人, but I see it as being, just as likely, a stylized version of Medical Mechanica's logo, a gear and caduceus. Could be both. Any ideas / additions before I add this part? Tsunomaru 06:12, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
This page refers to "N.O." several times without explaining what "N.O." is. The linked article explaining such has apparently been deleted. Propaniac 15:45, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
So much OR, over and over. Please do something about this. Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 10:01, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
I thought his name was Tasuku because thats the name I've heard being reffered to him and never even heard the name Naota...Ô.ô wow ô.ô (talk) 21:11, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I looked on Google for a little bit and although a few sites mention Haruka's guitar being used for flying, and although she does use it once or twice to fly, she has also shown that she is capable of flying without any apparent aid whether it be her guitar or her Vespa. Also, there is no proof that the cord on the back of her guitar was used to help her fly, as far as I could tell, it seemed to be some sort of bizzare pull-cord activated amp built into the guitar since when she hits things with the guitar after she pulls the cord it makes a guitar-ish sound (I don't know what else to call it, sue me). I'm going to remove that from the article until someone can find some solid evidence. Fallenangei (talk) 05:19, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't see anywhere in the series that it is ever stated that Atomsk is a Buster Machine, or that FLCL is related in any way to Gunbuster/Diebuster, beyond similar aesthetics - Diebuster and FLCL shared a director. This is fan fiction, and unless it can be verified, I will continue to change his species to unknown. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.192.55.3 (talk) 02:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone know what EXACTLY were the reasons for his/her placement of the tag? Was it for kicks? If THIS article has notability issues, then ipso facto so does FLCL; therefore, I'm strongly inclined to remove it.<br. />--NBahn (talk) 01:17, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
While we're on the subject of tags. Could we talk about what wikification needs to be done? From what I can see, I find the voice-actor boxes a little awkward, and the {{Genchar}} template likely inferior to more common character sidebar templates. Anything else? -Verdatum (talk) 17:55, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
I agree this article needs to be wikified. the infobox are very small and are not necessary for them to stay.Bread Ninja (talk) 19:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Anno did the voice for Myu-Myu, the cat. He requested that his name be
taken out of the credits, so it is listed as a ?. The only reason I know is that Tsurumaki mentions it on the directors commentary for one of the
episodes on the US release of the DVDs.

Besides Ohkura and Shintani, there was really only one other professional actress, though like the other two, she doesn’t do voice acting often. This would be Naota’s voice, Jun Mizuki, which Tsurumaki said they’d originally intended to leave to a child actor but ended up liking Mizuki’s performance a lot and thought it would be best to leave the main character to a pro. He says he chose her voice because it was very cool and intelligent sounding. Of course, one cannot discuss the voice acting of FLCL without mentioning that the fatass cat Miyu Miyu is played by the man, the myth, the legend, Hideaki Anno.
