A page of this name had previously been deleted, but it seems just to have been a blank, and was presumably deleted because it was void; I don't think there is any doubt about this person's notability (some links to the article already existed, for example). I will check back with the admin who deleted it if possible though. seglea (talk) 16:04, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Defamation?
The removal of details of a conviction for paedophilia on grounds of defamation seems wrong. He was convicted. He is a paedophile. Or do I misunderstand Wikipedia rules? Shipsview (talk) 10:34, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- I have no sympathy for sex offenders, or anyone fabricating accusations of such behavior. I'm trying to find any court document confirming a conviction for paedophilia. I can find marginal online news articles claiming this, however they all have identical text that suggests a lack of impartiality. Does the UK court system put its case history on line?
