Perhaps i've been listening to bootleggers, but 7 years ago i had a chance to play my uncle's gameboy, who had a multigame cartridge in it, one of the games there being an much more "improved" version of Karateka. Why is there not an article about such a game? --Kitetsu 02:20, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Probably because, from what limited information I could find, it was only released in Asia. Therefore, less English-speaking people are aware of it. (I wasn't.) BTW, it is helpful if you sign your comments like this: --~~~~. That will automatically add your name and the date. Thanks. --Lkseitz 15:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Wans't there a game just like that called Ninja? --84.234.60.154 (talk) 06:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Was this designed with rotoscoping? Parrothead1983 (talk) 06:45, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
The ending listed in the article is incorrect. If you run in to the same room as the princess she will be startled and kick you, killing you. If you go in to the room in a karate stance she thinks you are attacking and kicks you, killing you. You must walk in to the room so she can recognize you. If you play this on an emulator you will see this is the three possible endings.

- I'm afraid you're mistaken, at least on the original Apple II version. (I can't speak to other versions of the game.) The player only has two options for movement, run or attack stance; "walking" is impossible. Here's a video showing the player running into the room at the end. Here's a longer video showing both endings. --Lkseitz (talk) 19:11, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
no time for myself to add ATM. Will add later. --MASEM (t) 14:18, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Here are some original reviews to work into the article when it heads towards GA:
- A+ Magazine. July 1985.
- Enter. May 1985.
- Hardcore Computist 19. 1985.

- Done. However, I couldn't find the A+ Magazine review you're referring to. Maestro2016 (talk) 21:41, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
