Could someone please add "see also" links between this article and the playwright Dianne Warren? Design 01:53, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

In another article about the incredible Aerosmith, who performed another of her songs here is a quote from the article and citation below: "The show had an inventive flow. Aerosmith did its more saccharine, MTV ballads early on, such as "Cryin' " and the Diane Warren-penned "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."

"On her latest, Cher is reunited with the first lady of pop banality Diane Warren (who penned "If I Could Turn Back Time"). On "Body to Body, Heart to Heart," Cher sings about how she could drown in her lover's eyes and die in her lover's arms. If she's not careful, she will suffocate in Warren's drivel. Warren's quasi- erotic images are more silly than sexy here, especially when Cher coos, "I don't know where I end/Not sure where you start/When we're body to body, heart to heart."
"On the female empowerment tune, "When You Walk Away" (also written by Warren), Cher refuses to give you the right to make her cry. While she's strong enough to walk away from a bad situation, Cher proves once again that she is willing to dive head-first into a bad song. Warren's throwaway melodrama and the song's slickly produced but edgeless arrangement fail to capitalized on Cher's strong-willed, sultry persona." Craig Semon (2002, March 17). Cher still has the voice, offers `Living Proof' :[ALL Edition]. Telegram & Gazette,p. L2. Retrieved October 15, 2007, from Massachusetts Newsstand database. This proves, at least that she is a song writer

There is a note above the list of songs about citations. For reference, I thought I'd link to the ASCAP listing of her songs: . If/when I have time I'll cross-check the list (if someone else doesn't do it first).--Onemoregain 03:09, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
It would be interesting to know how many songs she has had on charts in each country. E.g. Ten thousand number 1 singles in the US. Lots of songs but in context how successful is she? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.21.71.39 (talk) 22:49, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO ASK DIANE WARREN IF SHE IS RELATED, IN ANY WAY, TO HARRY WARREN - BESIDE THE OBVIOUS THAT BOTH OF THEM ARE PROLIFIC SONGWRITERS. DOES ANYONE KNOW? DIANE, IF YOU READ THIS YOURSELF WOULD YOU COMMENT ABOUT THIS IN THE WIKI ARTICLE DEDICATED TO YOU. THANKS. How come there is no mention of her tone deafness. Seems pretty relevant for a song writer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schnapps17 (talk • contribs) 02:41, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
