Sources need to be published and thus available for verification. The contents of this article have to be based on publications, which need to be identified, not solely on the unpublished papers at RIBA and in private hands, so if the published sources could be added... I have changed the article to state he was buried at West Norwood, this is consistent with the DNB & the cemetery Friends. It would thus appear he was not buried with his wife in Dover. Ephebi 13:24, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
This article is both enthusiastic and half-hearted. The enthusiastic section on 30 Euston Square is nice, but it vastly over-inflates the significance of that building to Pite's oeuvre. Reference to "The Pite Collection" -- particularly with no details of how to contact Ms. Trend-Hill or see the "collection" -- is bizarre and unnecessary. I suspect the piece was written by Ms. Trend-Hill herself, who worked at 30 Euston Square for a time, I believe.
Outside of these two sections, the material is half-hearted. It is: confusingly arranged non-chronologically; riddled with errors, and (as is pointed out on the page) devoid of references.
Given the importance of Pite, and the very full discussion of his work provided by Brian Hanson (ed.) The Golden City: essays on the architecture and imagination of Beresford Pite (1993), I think this article should be substantially rewritten: though I think some room must be kept for the present "insider" appreciation of the Euston Square building.

The link to this article on Pite has just been sent to me. I did not write it for Wiki, though a majority of it is copied from the website I have on him: http://abpite.silent-cities.com/ I don't have a problem with it being used here. The pite collection is available to veiw by appointment only and I can be contacted via the website above. Would another article listing all the buildings by Pite be worthwhile ? Can find this and other buildings to start a list ! http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-369209-paget-memorial-mission-hall-and-ancillar DavidAnstiss (talk) 20:47, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
