I have removed the rubbish that was here before, I researched the topic well and have not come across any 'rainbow python' that is supposed to be a commonly called name, or that it is said to cause 'rainfall', which to me sounds like a vandal putting false information! If you want to verify my article and enhance the article here were my sources; [], also my other source was a book entitled,'green guide,Snakes and Other Reptiles of Australia' written and comprised by Gerry Swan (The book is the 'Whitley Award Winner' for the best zoological series. Would people looking up an encyclopeadia find it of that great worth/importance to read in the main introduction of the article that this is the first snake Steve Irwin owned? Perhaps it could be removed or moved to its own section - famous people who own(ed) the scrub python maybe? Lenneth (talk) 04:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
