The SouthernAurora was an overnight express passenger train that operated between Australia's two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne. First-class throughout
nicknamed the 'Sex' or 'Mex'. The Sydney–Melbourne Express was formed to replace the Spirit of Progress and SouthernAurora to cut operating costs of the
Centre, Aurora Place, Chifley Tower, the Reserve Bank building, Deutsche Bank Place, MLC Centre, and Capita Centre. The tallest structure is Sydney Tower
converted to standard gauge allowing it, and the new SouthernAurora to operate through to Sydney. In 1868 definite plans were made by the Victorian government
