Southeast Township is one of ten townships in Orange County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,541 and it contained 725 housing units.[1]

Southeast Township was named from its position in the southeastern corner of Orange County.[3]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 53.33 square miles (138.1 km2), of which 53.21 square miles (137.8 km2) (or 99.77%) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2) (or 0.23%) is water.[1]
