This page lists all the selected panoramas used at the SFBA portal. to add a new panorama, choose either a FA, Quality, or Valued image at the commons, or find a panorama that shows some feature not already documented in the current selection.
This portal does not require a rating on Wikipedia's content assessment scale. It is of interest to the following WikiProjects: | |||||||||||

Click on the first redlink below (current example is "13"), and create the page with the following text:
<center>[[Image:IMAGE NAME|1000px]]</center> <center>IMAGE DESCRIPTION WITH APPROPRIATE LINKS, INCLUDING '''[[ARTICLE NAME FOR MAIN SUBJECT OF IMAGE]]'''</center> <div style="text-align: right; direction: ltr; margin-left: 1em;"><small>image credit: [[User:"username"|"username"]]</small></div> [[Category:San Francisco Bay Area portal selected panorama pages]]
adjust the image size as appropriate. Then, increase the parameter by +1 at Portal:San Francisco Bay Area, at the wikimarkup code:
{{Random portal component|max=12|header=Selected panorama|footer=<small><small>| subpage=Selected panorama}}
This means the above sample would go from 12 to 13. if you make the parameter too large, you get a blank space where an image should be.
Then, copy the newly created subpages contents, minus the category, to this pages section for it. This duplicates the content, so any further editing must be done twice, but it also makes it easy to edit this page in general.
