The National Transport Museum of Ireland (Irish: Iarsmalann Náisiunta Iompair na hÉireann), the main project of the Transport Museum Society of Ireland, is based in the grounds of Howth Castle in Ireland. It is the current form of a project begun in the 1940s and restructured in the early 1970s. It operated the Castleruddery Transport Museum from 1974 to 1985, opening in Howth in 1986. It has a collection of more than 180 vehicles in all.
