Moritz Hermann von Jacobi, russified from 1837 as Boris Semyonovich Yakobi (Russian: Борис Семёнович Якоби; 21 September 1801 – 10 March 1874) was a Prussian and Russian Imperial engineer and physicist of Jewish descent.
