Mirbag (Persian: میربگ) is a village in Mirbag-e Shomali Rural District of Mirbag District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district. The village is the merger of the former villages of Farhadabad and Shahnabad.[3]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, Mirbag's population (as the total of the two villages before their merger) was 2,953 in 607 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,065 people in 702 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population as 3,085 people in 795 households.[2]
After the census,
In March 2022, Mirbag-e Jonubi and Mirbag-e Shomali Rural Districts were separated from the district in the establishment of Mirbag District. Farhadabad merged with the village of Shahnabad to form the new village of Mirbag[3]
