Lynn Township is one of ten townships in Posey County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 810.[3]

Lynn Township was organized in 1817.[5] The township bears the name of Dan Lynn, a state legislator.[6]
It is within the Metropolitan School District of Mt. Vernon,[7] which operates Mount Vernon High School.
