Lake Tinaroo is a rural locality in the Tablelands Region of Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Lake Tinaroo had "no people or a very low population".[1]

Geography

The locality includes the lake itself (also called Lake Tinaroo) created by the Tinaroo Dam as well as the foreshores of the lake and some of the creeks that flow into the lake. It is mostly a water locality with very little land.[3]

Education

Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre is an Outdoor and Environmental Education Centre at Black Gully Road (17.1822°S 145.5528°E / -17.1822; 145.5528 (Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre)).[5][6]
