Makhnivka (Ukrainian: Махнівка; Russian: Махновка; Yiddish: מאכניווקא[lower-alpha 1]) is a village in Khmilnyk Raion of Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine, located on the west bank of the Hnylopiat River. It was named Komsomolske[lower-alpha 2] from 1935 until 2016. As of 2017, it had a population of 3,415 people.[2]
