Kang Thae-mu (Korean: 강태무; 15 March 1925 – 17 June 2007) was a military officer and politician of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Although he was an officer of the Korean People’s Army, he led the troops into the war just before the outbreak of the Korean War.
