Doug McClain receives the Proclamation from Mayor Mick Cornett, declaring June 1-10 Oklahoma Navy week while the "Sea Chanters" look on. Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Dallas and Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO) are partnering to celebrate Navy Week from June 1 through 10 June. Oklahoma City Navy Week is one of 26 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2007. Navy weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in the Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant everyday Navy presence.
